About Talking Stick Resort & Casino
Just east of Phoenix-Scottsdale, Talking Stick Resort is owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. It is among Arizona's largest golf and casino resorts with nearly 500 guest rooms in a 15-story hotel tower, six restaurants, entertainment and pools. Located off the Highway 101 loop, it is conveniently located near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and many of the area's best golf courses. In addition to nightlife and live casino action at the resort, a Topgolf was recently added to the property as well. The main outdoor pool is large and has live music and DJs during a summer series and cabanas for rent, while there are two smaller pools. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness center and a complimentary shuttle that can transport guests to area attractions. The golf club is located next door and feature 36 holes designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the Piipash and O'odham. Both golf courses are void of residential development and feature forgiving fairways and greens on native terrain.Facts

Underwhelmed!!
Not impressed with the course friendliness. Fairways and greens great condition but wouldn’t play again due to staff rudeness. Starter not helpful at all. No idea of flag position. Underwhelmed!!
Nice course with poor customer service
The starter was not helpful at all. No instruction what so ever on pin placement or facilities. We called into the clubhouse during our round and were told there were no restrooms on the course. Course was lovely but would not play again due to customer service.
Overpriced
This is a fine, average course. Conditionss were good, but there is nothing special. Even in the Phoenix winter market, I don’t think it’s worth $200.
The greens are interesting, with any long putt likely to break more than 1 direction. A few holes have hidden hazards, so pay attention to the GPS.
Starter was friendly, and kept things on time. We finished in 4 hrs and 15 minutes, which is their suggested pace. I thought that was much too long, as we waited on nearly every shot.
Overall, like I said a fine average course. I would go back for $100 (in the winter) but not for $200.
Nice day playing this course
We enjoyed the day, course in great shape, pace of play wasn’t too bad. The gps on our cart never worked and no one was very concerned about correcting this. This didn’t detract us from having a nice round. Will play again
Nice course
First time playing Talking Stick and thought all the amenities were excellent from the practice tees to the half way house. Too bad there was construction on the clubhouse.
Pipash
Course is in very good shape. Greens ran true. Pace of play was around four and a half hours.
Lower rating on off course amenities due to construction and improvements but should be great when completed.
Very disappointed in staff policy about being a single and riding in a cart alone, after paying $180 plus club rental $80 being told have to pair with another player or pay 25-30 cart fee is ludicrous, rates in AZ and Vegas are crazy, at least be more accommodating some what.
Don't pay retail
Had a great day, loved the course and will definitely be going back. Booking through Golf Now was a mistake, paid $262 and found out after the fact that there are special deals if you do some research and call the pro shop. I'm sure that many courses in the Scottsdale area and other areas as well provide deals if you ask. Small additional detail, clubhouse is under renovation, was not a big deal unless you are looking to eat and spend time before or after golf.
Quick round
Started on back nine because a tournament was finishing. All in all an enjoyable round although the club house was unavailable as it’s being renovated
Nice course
Overall course in good shape. Bunkers could use some work. Club house getting renovated so amenities not really available. Would recommend and will go back again
