The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Many greens have large portions ropped off because they died. Photo submitted by cedyftUYCoxED3FSXWkH on 06/26/2020

Everything is so good, except for the fighter jets take off close to the golf course, very noisy.
Great Course
Great Layout! Fairways are Immaculate as well as the greens. By the way the Greens were quick. I enjoyed my whole experience!!
Now it’s time to try the Blue Course
Easy Layout.
Course conditions were Great! Speed of green were fast and the best position is to be is below the hole. I recommend this course if you are in AZ
i didn't like the greens, greens needed some work , and greens were difficult putt on.
Great course, great value.
Payed twilight rate and still finished 18 holes so great pace of play! Course is lush, green and well groomed, unlike the typical Phoenix area desert courses. Will return for more.
This place stinks
Just another money hungry course. Played 8 holes before getting dumped on with 20mph winds. Went into the pro shop and was told we can wait it out but they don’t do rain checks. That tells me all I need to know about a place. Not the first issue here either, I will never return to wigwam unless it’s to use their practice facility.
Mr Malcolm Barker
Extremely tough course need too play it a couple of times to get up to speed with Greens
Red course is great
The red course is a very nice layout. Not a lot of trouble and greens were fantastic.
Good conditions but mediocre staff
The Gold course was great. Fairway and greens were well maintained. Our only complaint is about the marshal/ranger. Before we even started he made a comment to myself and parents about ensuring we play at pace and to make sure we picked our ball up if we just couldn’t keep up. My parents and I are average but fast paced golfers as we finished our round in 4 hours and 15 minutes with a starting tee time of 11:40 am. We had to wait for the 4 men in front of us and wonder if the marshal said anything to them about their pace. We paid the same as every other group and don’t deserve the additional unnecessary comments from the marshal about how to keep pace.
Thank you,
Dr. Hutchinson
Red course at wigwam6800
Enjoyed the course I’m a.14 handicap so was able to play a tee box that suited
We had a scratch holder in group and there was a 6800 yd tee box for him
Would play agsi
