Brown Fairway. I think this is the 9th fairway but it is typical of all fairways. Photo submitted by sherpaboy on 02/12/2022

No maintenance has been done
The courses in very poor shape nothing has been done with the bunkers very little grass in the fairways. I would not recommend this course.
Off Roading......
The conditions of this course were absolutely horrendous. This course should actually be more at the 30 to 40 buckss AT MOST. But if you're willing to pay sixty dollars for golf and off road inexperienced than be my guest.
Typical round
Greens slower than TP and Balboa but rolled true.
Fairways are ok shape. Some bunkers are muddy and sands hard.
Hello, u000001545169. Thank you for visiting us at Carlton Oaks Lodge & Country Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
Terrible condition, not worth the money
Won’t be coming back here again. The course is in horrible condition for a course that charges $80. What are they even doing with all that money??? Zero course maintenance. “Ground under repair” scattered all over entire course.
Yard markers
White flag on every green. No clear yard markers. 80 for the round but no gps in cart.
Friendly staff but in my opinion for the price it’s not worth it.
Potential....but rough!
The course area and scenery are nice. There are plenty of challenges to navigate (bunkers, water, and terrain), but the biggest challenge is the condition of the course itself. If you're in the fairway, no problem, but the second your ball leave the fairway, things get dicey. The rough is ROUGH. Tall grass, massive clover patches, and dirt/mud areas present a whole new challenge. Many drives that should have been very findable resulted in having to drop a new ball because the course just swallowed it up. Most of the greens are in average to decent shape. A few were a little patchy with some dead spots, but they play VERY slow!!
Golf is already hard, when course conditions aren't great good luck.
This course feels like it used to be great and beautiful to play on 20 years ago yet as fallen to the way side. Nothing but unkept up fairways with big dirt mounds and goffer holes everywhere. Greens are nice but thats about it. Tee time was 2:36pm but due to not having carts available we stood waiting for about 25 minutes until one was returned which was insane. I am glad I picked the later tee time and only spent $46 dollars, I would of been more upset if I paid full price of $80 since we didn't even get to finish the round do to loss of daylight.
