Nice course but slow play.
Course was in good shape and played well. Very slow group in front of us that caused almost 3 hours on the back 9. This is a Club Corp. Course, but not well advertised.
Carmel Valley Ranch
First class course with an excellent practice facility. Free pyramid of range balls to warm up with. Somewhat narrow target golf layout with beautiful views. Highly recommended!
Love Carmel ranch
Love this course great place to play stuff outstanding pace of play can approve had force him in front of us must’ve been a money game would not let us go through only downer of the day highly recommended
Pristine
The fairways and greens were immaculate and especially impressive given that I played during the winter season. The front nine was target golf and rewarded you for proper placement. The back nine had beautiful elevation changes and it was a little more difficult than the front 9. I have played Spyglass hill, Spanish bay, Poppy Hills and course conditions here are on par with those tour level courses but I found this course more approachable and more enjoyable to play. It’s not quite as difficult as those courses but it will definitely keep you on your toes. A great round of golf and a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Carmel.
Great and fun course
Pace of play was slow today and I politely jumped a slow foursome at 5. Instead of shuttling back at the end of my round, I asked the pro shop if it would be alright to slip out and play the par 3 I missed, offering that I'd come back in should anyone be on either the tee box OR the green. The response was negative with a how dare you tone. It's fine. I scored myself a deserved birdie! But cmon, try and be a little more understanding, especially since YOUR POP was less than desirable on this day. Beautiful course, not usually this stodgy. This pro shop gent was qualified to work down at The Quail Lodge!!
Greens run true
Great course views were beautiful and the greens were perfect but very challenging which made my round fun. I hope to be back again soon.
Pete Dye Masterpiece
Great track. Must drive the ball well. Greens were bent grass, and in great condition. A gem
in this area.
