Par 3 Pebble Course
Extremely slow, 6 holes in 1 hr 40 minuets
Quit after 6 holes and had lunch!
Pace of play poor
Need Marshall to improve pace of play. Took 5 hrs to play due to groups not keeping up, searching for golf balls in ponds and ignoring waiting groups behind them. Called clubhouse and were told no one could come out and get the group holding up play to move up in vacate the course. Ruins enjoyment of the game when no one cares to fix the problem. Cost of tee times has gone up every year with less care as to how those paying these rates are treated
Thank you the 5-Star Rating! We look forward to having you back soon at Cimarron Golf Club - Boulder Course
5 hour rounds
If you want to start 15 to 20 minutes after your tee time and take 5 hours to play after you start, this place is for you. We played there 5 times this year January to March 2024, was always 15 plus minutes behind. The first 3,rounds took 4:40 the last 2 took 5 hours. The only reason we went back the last time was because of a hot deal, plus I want to give them a last chance before I never play there again. No luck 5 hours.
Was told by the pro shop that they considered the course to be a resort course and 5 hours is not unusual for a resort course. So if you like 4:45 to 5:00 hour rounds, this place is for you.

Short staffed, no carts and so on!
This is the 3rd time arrive at this course to play 18, poor service, no carts with a line waiting for carts of 7 people! Course in fair at best condition! I left like many others and did get my refund! 3 stars in kind!
Challenging par 3
Well priced ,particularly at twilight rates. Or with Cimarron card. Very welcoming staff. Often a shortage of golf carts around noon. Recommend a late afternoon round. At 4pm or later you can play 18 in 2 hrs. Excellent greens, fairways need better cutting, rough can be really rough. Food here is very reasonable and excellent quality and a beautiful setting looking out over the golf courses and mountains
Need more Carts!
They don’t have enough carts. We had to wait 45 minutes at the bag drop for our cart. Which made us start 20 minutes past our time tee. We were able to catch up with the group in front of us, but then waited at every tee box.
With that said the course was nice and we would play it again. It would be good if they got more carts.
Thoughts on Pebble
Staff is friendly, course is in good shape.
Pace was VERY SLOW- at one point I considered quitting.
There needs to be longer spacing between tee times.
Beverage cart prices are out of line- $4 for a can of Soda !?
Beverage cart girl needs to learn how to smile.
Overall, our experience was okay.
Average Course, Below Average Amenities
The course is okay; you get a good variety of par 3's, but the services leave a lot to be desired. Even though we were playing in temperatures in the mid 80's this is the first course in the region I have ever played that did not supply you with water in the golf cart coolers. Also, the routing markers hole to hole are non-existent, so for a first-timer we got lost and made wrong turns a few times. Staff wasn't very friendly nor helpful. Despite the low rate I probably would not go back there again.
Slow pace
Wish the marshals had been out on course. Group in front of us definitely slowed us down when we started the back 9 there was 3 open holes in front of them and they were not interested in letting us play through.
Thank you the 5-Star Rating! We look forward to having you back soon at Cimarron Golf Club - Boulder Course
Overbooked
Mini golf tournament ahead of booked tee times caused excessive delays in getting started and the parking lot was overfilled - no parking spots. Vsilzz as be.
4 out of 5
Pretty good course overall for a fair price. 3 or 4 holes play over water wash which is not a factor unless you get heavy rains. I would play this course again, it is wide open with no protection from winds.

Bad experience here on a Saturday that could have been avoided
I’ve played before and had expectations for a decent on and off course experience but this was not that.
All of the issues could have been avoided with decent management and/or training of staff and scheduling.
It turned out they put a junior tournament on the course that day but no one informed us of that or the fact that they were running 30-35 mins behind the tee time schedule until 5 minutes before our tee time. We had been there an hour ahead, hit plenty of balls, putted, etc and were all warmed up to find this out. No compensation and no apologies but a lot of frustrated and angry golfers. Why put kids who are walking and going to take 5 hours to finish out there and not tell any of the paying customers in advance? And they shut the kitchen/bar area down for an event so no where to wait it out inside on a cold day. Also they failed to mention there are no bathrooms on the course. I brought a golfer here for his first time and no way will he or anyone he knows be back. It’s just unprofessional.
