Guests of the Cimarron Golf Resort will be comfortable at the Staybridge Suites Cathedral City, an extended-stay hotel that is the perfect alternative to corporate apartments or restrictive vacation rentals. All 197 units include a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop and dishwasher. A Raintree Vacation Club with two bedroom condos and the Worldmark Cathedral City hotel are also available onsite. Sanoran Mustard Weed
I had a great day of golf, and everything was perfect! The only thing that distracted me was the dreadful Sonoran mustard weed that is already beginning to sprout seeds. This weed is invasive and crafts out all the natural wild flowers that are so lovely! I sure am hopeful that he will choose to tackle these weeds before they take over.

Fun
Played solo round behind a beginner couple and a foursome. So played two balls, one ball from blues, one from fed tees….. was awesome until we finished 5….. there were four groups waiting at 6th hole, so I ducked around and went to 13th and finished the round not seeing anyone ahead of me. Hitting two balls was like 18 holes - no complaints for just getting off a plane from Canada and getting rust off - I will return👍

Rainy, rainy and wet
I believe the course would be beautiful, but unfortunately the rains came and it sucked! Would love to try again on a sunnier, warmer day, but not sure if we can get a refund on our gift certificate. Please let me know, thank you, Kathleen

Enjoyed the course
It was a a lot of fun to play. Nothing too tricky; what you see is what you get. None of the holes particularly stand out when remembering after the round, but they were all fun. We had seven of us traveling from all around the US and we all had a great time. Shot scores from 78 to 88.

Course was scruffy, hard to distinguish rough from fairway, guessing it received some damage from tropical storm.

Typical Palm Springs Public Course - Friendly Staff
This course to me was your typical Palm Springs public course, nothing special however the staff were super friendly and informative so I'd say the great staff puts makes this course stand out among the many other peers in the Valley. I wish they had pull carts to rent for out-of-towners who prefer to walk.
A nice course with fabulous views
Played from the white (Middle) tees and did not find the course overly challenging, given the perfect weather conditions. A few of the fairways are a bit narrow, requiring accuracy off the tee. Greens were relatively fast but a bit choppy with a lot of ball marks. I fixed several on each green. There are some unique local rules that were not explained by the starter, but luckily my playing partners had played there before. Specifically, balls that end up in the wash were treated as a free drop. We also played certain landscaped areas as a free drop. Not sure if this was correct, but it was a casual round. Did not see any white stakes. Full driving range, and there is an 18-hole short course, so you have options.

Good warm up
First time here; on a vacation trip.
Nice layout for an opening round. Would have been a lot nicer with better pace of play (3.5 hours to play an afternoon round).
Roadrunners and rabbits are plentiful.
