Indian Wells Golf Resort
About Indian Wells Golf Resort
The 36-hole Indian Wells Golf Resort offers a foursome of resort hotels all within walking distance of the 53,000-square-foot clubhouse: The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa; Indian Wells Resort Hotel; the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa; and the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa. Each delivers what you would expect from the Coachella Valley: Nice rooms, multiple restaurants, a spa, pool and more amenities. The Tommy Bahama Miramonte is the first resort of its kind for the iconic fashion brand and was completely renovated before its reveal in fall 2023. As for the golf, Clive Clark's Celebrity course served as the site of the LG Skins Game in 2007-08. John Fought's Player course counters with dynamic bunkering. Shots in the Night keeps the fun going after dark with the laser-fueled Putting Experience powered by Nextlinks and the Glow Golf Range.Facts

Hole #12 I believe. Photo submitted by Trailerteri on 04/03/2013
Pushy Marshall
This course is average in playability for the Palm Desert area but Carrie’s a big price tag. No help with getting the bags in and out of the cars. Driving range is nice, carts with GPS good. The big challenge was that the Marshall on the third hole said we were holding up the group behind even though it was 25 mins after we teed off. The group behind frequently hit up on us while we were on the green or walking to carts. We finished nine and turned in 1 hour 5-0 minutes even though the suggested time allocation was 2 hrs 20 minutes. Some of the players in our foursome did not feel they could putt since the foursome behind kept hitting up on us. It was a very unpleasant round at the resort.
Pristine shape
Aesthetically, this course is beautiful! The fairways and greens were lush and green and layout was pretty challenging. Would’ve liked the practice range on the grass instead of the mats and the greens to be a little faster but other than that, this has been the most visually impressive golf course I’ve played in the palm desert so far.
Fantastic resort and course
First class resort and wonderful course, beautiful and challenging but fair. Every hole provides superb views of the desert mountains, but you'll also experience the perfectly manicured course, along with awesome vegetation and trees.
Really good - not great
Rough was a little burned out not as plush as the neighboring celebrity course. Good pro shop. Lots of water on the course. Pace was bit slow to start and then picked up nicely. I think the group in front of us either got a nudge or picked up the pace when they saw us waiting for the first 3-4 holes.
Greens were fast maybe a 11 and true. Did not like the traps not enough sand but that may what to expect given the sometimes windy conditions.
Super course great Staff
This is a must play course for the visitors. Great course and vistas
Saturday round at Celebrity Indian Wells
Ok course but way overpriced. Bunkers were not in great shape, some grass growing in a few. Resort course where nobody rakes the bunkers. Slow pace. Layout feels crammed into a small piece of land. Nice staff. Fairways and greens were nice but overall what you get for over $200 green fee it was not worth it. too many good options for a lot less in the Coachella area.
Fabulous
Staff very friendly, course in great condition, challenging, and we played with very nice people.
A Beautiful Place - Celebrity Course
With Blue mountains to it’s back grounds, the course was filled with flower beds and Palm trees.
The course condition was at it’s best.
Loved the course.
Great course layout
The Celebrity course was challenging, great layout.
A bit on the expensive side, 200/pp. still worth playing at least once.
