The 11th is a TOUGH par-4 with great elevation and a false fronted green. Use enough club! Photo submitted by greebs on 07/20/2020

Yes, the 18th is a par-3. Get over it, and enjoy yet another perfect hole to finish your round. Photo submitted by greebs on 07/20/2020

The par-4 14th. A great example of what makes this course special. Notice the hillocks and hummocks on the left side of the fairway. Otherwise, this would be a mundane hole, but this addition collects tee shots and makes the approach interesting. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

Makenzie called the par-4 16th the greatest two-shotter in the world, largely due to the three-tiered green. No room for error long, short or right. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

The par-4 seventh, an excellent example of the course's hallmark bunkering. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

The seemingly simple par-3 15th, which is actually a beguiling hole. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

From behind the 11th green, one of the most difficult par 4s I've ever played. Requires two-to-three clubs up on approach. Photo submitted by BrandonWebb on 08/12/2017

Beautiful and challenging
Not your everyday course. Lots of beautiful layouts, extremely well bunkered and challenging layups required.
A Must for all who are passionate about the game
We followed the "Impossible Pin" tournament which made it a bit slow. At least we didn't have to putt to the impossible pins - alternate regular pins were placed for us mortals.
The greens at Pastiempo are a challenge in easy pin locations - if there is such a thing.
Fantastic track. A must for McKenzie fans and all golf enthusiasts.
As good as expected, but the pace was poor
We met a tournament unfortunately, just finished 16 holes after 5.5 hours.
Wow!
What a beautiful course. I can't wait to play it again.
Great course, needs some work on greens
This is a terrific but difficult par 70 course and the greens make it even more so. Some of the fairways are quite tight and the par fours are very challenging. Those the greens are large the pin placements make them very difficult. Bring your short game!
Dr McKenzie was genius
This course is amazing. Layout exciting and interesting from 1st tee to 18th green. Greens are mind bending. Highly recommend a caddie, and if you can get Josh, you’re in great hands.
Walking was a very enjoyable, also highly recommended.
Price is a little tough but for a special day out it’s a great one. Hope to get back when the hospitality is open!
Pasatiempo Times
A true historical golf course, I consider myself very lucky to play the course the last 2 weeks. The staff was very courteous and professional during the greetings and checking in the guests. A great golf experience, thank you and stay safe.
The course and staff were top notch
I slept through my alarm and by the time I woke up my tee time was already past. I called them clubhouse to ask if there was any way of still playing and they were happy to accommodate my mistake. The staff was just fantastic and the course was awesome. I wish I could afford to play it again because I had so much fun. The home locations were challenging and the greens offered some good challenges.
I just really appreciate the staff making the effort to get me a time to play after my mistake. This was a bucket list course and it did not disappoint. Thank you again for a great day!
