Great value
The course was in good condition, staff was friendly and food was great as well
Not worth it anymore
Been playing this course for 20 years, the price was increased 10, from the last 5 dollar increase. The staff is very rude, and sends out slow foursomes every 10 minutes which makes this a slow playing day. If you are going to jack up the price how about doing some work to the messed up tee boxes and have someone fix the divots on the greens since most of the new people that play there now do not know golf etiquette.
Value for your dollar!
The Cart Paths are undriveable and have not been repaired in over 10 years! They are low grade asphalt, not cement, like every other golf course in San Diego! And they are IN TERRIBLE CONDITION! PLUS, their golf course carts do not let you drive anywhere near where your ball lies, so you have to walk forever! They offer NO SENIOR Exemptions! And they OVERWATER the course overnight, so if you play in the morning, expect flooded wet spots, bare spots in most of the fairways on the front 9!
A very frustrating and low value experience! Cheap owners ruin the golf experience!
Novice Review
One of my first rounds, so novice perspective
Good for beginners - no crazy holes
Attractive course
Outside of fairways need mowing - even per veteran golfer I paired with
Rough
Course conditions are rough. Cart path is rough, pace of play is almost always slow. Overpriced, unfortunately.
Decent course but better options for the price
Decent layout and in fair condition. Pace of play could be better. Little pricey IMO. Better courses out there for under $90.
# 14 is one of the worst designed holes I’ve ever played, sold as a risk reward hole but in reality even with an elevated tee 267 to clear water (white tees) is unrealistic for most weekend golfers. Forces a layup off the tee and then a 150-160 yd shot to green. It’s only risk reward if there is a real option off the tee.
Great Track
The course is fun and challenging and was in good condition. Awesome bar and restaurant as well.
Poor pace
I’ve played here a few times and have generally had a good experience
On this day it was particularly slow
I’ll return but for the money I’m expecting a sub 5 1/2 hour round. Even on Sunday
Exec at Lakehouse
Fun par 3, helpful staff, unfortunately had to quit after 3 hours and only played 13 holes as pace of play was abysmal
not worth $74
the fairways are beat up, they do not care to control the pace of play, the value just isn't there
Sweet Par 3!
Great greens and layout. Challenging and fun for all. There are some great opportunities to rip your driver, but you must be precise!
Bring your own snacks because there is no cart service.
