About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

It was ok
Pro shop manager was rude
Course was in bad shape.
All bunkers were mud
Tree pines all over course not cleaned up
Golf carts are old
There was no a marshal to control the pace. I have to play with slow players in the front group, causing our group waiting every hole, and another group that pushed our group behind.
And staff who distributed the cart keys should know at least "greeting" to the players.
Very tight golf course
The Babe course is not very long, but you have to be very accurate and know which side of the fairway to play from. The greens are large with lots of undulations and putt slower than they look. This was my first time playing so I was not sure where to hit it and found myself out of position quite a bit. I would like to go back and play again so I would recommend it.
Course in good condition
Had a great twilight deal, literally no one playing after 4:00pm, enjoyed quick 11 holes by myself and joined a group and played another 10 holes… course is in great condition, greens were even and fast. Overall had a great value round played.
TERRIBLE!!!
How does Davie Youpa still have a job there. What has been done to these courses under his tenure is absolutely criminal. This is a resort to avoid people. SERIOUSLY!!!
Where’s the sand?!?
Great course but traps all waste bunkers. Charge a little more and BRING IN THE SAND!
Rate of play
Course is beautiful, understandable that it’s a larger, more difficult course. However the starter and Marshall’s need to do a better job at regulating pace. It was so backed up it wasn’t even enjoyable. For $84 you think they would take a little more pride in how their course runs..
Babe
Good round overall. Smooth greens, but slow like 9..5 on stimp. Tees were furry, Rough and fairways were in decent shape. Called headpro Matt Mallers because maintenance moved the hole After we teed off on Par3 13th Babe. My foursome left the course unhappy. Won't be returning for a very long time. Can't wait to tell this story to my mates at Oakmont, Friendly, California, and Hacienda.
The Babe!
My friend and I had a wonderful morning of golf! The course was in great shape - tee boxes, fairways and greens. This course never fails to be exemplary. Love playing there and hope to return sometime soon.
You must of played Whittier Narrows or out of ignorance don't know what your'e talking about! Both courses are in great shape and the amount of people playing the management is doing everything right!
