Overall solid course
This course is long and challenging due to the hazards, course was in great shape to start the season.
Nice day, nice course
I have not played there in year. It was just as nice as I remembered it to be. We had a great day. Hope to make it back there again this summer.
Plumas is Special
Course was recently plugged but GolfNow did not mention this but the greens were ok to putt. Rest of the course in great shape. Got behind 4 elderly ladies that took forever to play. They should have picked up after 7 strokes....
Course was in pristine condition. Go now before they close for the season. Greens were receptive and fast, fairways were plush. Single file down the fairway. The course was super tight but very playable. Have to think your way around the course.
Plumas Pines in October
Play this course 1 time a week for a month and you will be able to play most courses. Tight fairways and small greens make this course a real challenge. October is the best time of the year to be in this part of the country.
Great Course to Begin Our Trip
Plumas Pines is a great course! This was the first course my brother and I played during our 2020 brother's trip. Tee'd off at 1:10 pm and were able to easily get in 36 holes. We loved it!! A little smoky/hazy due to the fires, but not enough to impact our golf. Course was fun, easy to get around, and everyone at the course was very nice and helpful. We'd play here again.
Always beautiful in Graeagle
The weather is perfect even when it isn't. Sunny, just the right amount of humidity, fluffy clouds. On this particular day there was some massive pyro-cumulus clouds from the Loyalton wildfire. The course played great: front 9 had its water hazards, the back 9 narrow buy dry. Greens were soft but quick, fairways meticulously groomed. As they say in the pro shop: "The course is in great shape today"
Excellent condition, snack bar open with limited menu. Bar and restaurant closed due to covid 19.
First Round
Course was amazing. My one suggestion would to have the marshals insure pace of play. We got stuck behind a group that was taking 25mins/hole. Other than that everything was fantastic.
always great condition
Plumas Pines is always in great shape.Brandon does an awesome job running this course
Awesome
Heard about this course from friends. Hidden gem. Excellent course. Incredible area.
Beautiful course. No one in front of us or pushing us! Lots of dog legs
Another Great round @ Plumas Pines
Perfect day as far as weather was concerned. The course was quit wet/damp in certain areas (mostly the runoff's), but really nothing that would interfere with the play. The practice putting green seemed much faster than the actual green on the course, but nothing that you could not adjust to within a few holes. Play was somewhat slow at first and then got backed up towards the end of the round (last 3/4 holes. Overall the round was very enjoyable and the course looked fantastic. Will definitely be going back before the end of the season.
Top notch
Plumas Pines is always well maintained and staff is great,I always say the course is comparable to the courses I grew up on in Monterey
