Last chance
Course was wet due to rains but pretty good shape anyway. Greens are a bit slow but playable. Worth it to get out.
But, it’s now Covid 19 closed !!!! Sheriff was there when I finished and shut it down.
Great value
Good coarse for a reasonable $35 green fee cart included
First time visitors
Staff at check in was great.
Staff at bar/restaurant poor.
Food at bar/restaurant very poor.
Others golfers, polite and helpful.
Course was a little confusing.
Don't spend your money
Course was a very nice course a few years back, used to be 2 18 holes. Now its one 18 hole course spread soo far out you can get very lost trying to find the next hole. Course also isn't kept in great condition. Staff was nice but Its more like they feel bad for you wasting your money. Also people who live there have expressed the displeasue of the facility going down hill, met them at the club house. Golf somewhere else.
Ridgemont golf experience
This was by far the worst golf experience I and my 4some experienced in my 50+ years of playing golf. We played behind 2 ill mannered 4somes that played as 8somes at least half of the 18 holes. They were drinking and driving their carts dangerously throughout the 18 holes, never asking us if we wanted to play through. We waited almost every hole. It was a 6 hour round. To top the round off, on the last hole, one of their group hit a ball back towards us while we were on the tee box. We were on the 18th hole tee box at the time. My son drove out to the group of now 10 people to ask them to please show some respect and course etiquette . Before he could get out of his cart he was attacked and assaulted by several of the guys in the group and ultimately held and hit in the face. After this assault we went back to the club house and reported the incident to the staff. From the beginning of round we reported this groups behaviour (playing as an 8some) and in the middle of the round. They were unable to offer any assistance. They had no staff that were available to go out on the course to resolve the situations. After speaking with the staff management the next day, they accepted very little responsibility for this very serious incident. My group will certainly tell our friends who will tell their friends and so on of the very poor course management practices and lack of responsibility to take care of their golf patrons. I would highly recommend that "Golf Now" discontinue any affiliation with the Ridgemark golf course for the lack of responsibility that the management staff has displayed.
Fun course to play.
The greens are rough. The course is drying out with plenty of ball roll. Still fun to play.
Sad
I have not played here in 20 years. It used to be very nice. It was sad to see all the greens were crappy and full of fungus. Not a lot of water and the course layout is poor.
Bumpy Dry Greens and poor course Maintenance
Won't go all the way here for a while .Wasn't happy with the course at all
Poor condition
Sad to see this course so neglected as used to be great one to play but now weeds in the fairways and hadnt been mowed . Greens had been sanded a week ago but so much sand on them impossible to do anything. Wont go again unless they change
Fine course except one major hiccup
I always enjoy the course . The staff is friendly and the course has some challenging holes .
My only gripe was that nothing was mentioned about the course being aerated . That of course lowers the experience . I will continue to play there, but hopefully you will mention that to them .
Great for the discounted rate
Greens were in good shape except for a couple where it appears there was damage or disease. Slow pace was maddening. Quite a few 5 somes and if I were behind where I started I would have quit. Lots of work being done to tidy up after all of the rains but overall a decent track.
Inforce cart on path
The golf course is usually good but this day it was pretty soggy and people were driving off the cartpath and we're ruining the course if you can tell the people that pay at the club house to stay on the path it will be more likely for them to stay on the path I nearly say the sign that said to stay on the cart path but other then that the people working there were very nice and do a great job
Pathetic
This course used to be one fore premiere courses and a great value. Course is in terrible condition and with all the rain we had in winter should be in excellent condition. Wasn’t worth the $60 to play! Green were terrible and bumpy!
Pay the extra 30-40 and go play San Juan oaks!!
Great price and good course
I haven’t played here in a while and I heard they renovated and I must say was for the better the course is in great condition. We had to wait a bit for frost delay but we didn’t mind let us warm up since it was colder than usual. You must watch for signs to let you know where next tee box is that can get a little tricky but it’s manageable. Must say great value for course.
