Challenging but fun
Very challenging for a novice golfer such as I. Trees, long rough, lots of water and guarded greens. Makes you think and allows for use of all the clubs in your bag.
Horrific
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE. I have been playing golf for 30 years and I have never played a course in this poor condition. As we were leaving the staff yelled at my kids and wife. I know this sounds unbeleiveable, but it is true. I feel like they stole my money!
Decent Track
In fairness, it was a rainy day, so my sense is things were not operating as they usually would. My criticisms are a few, but here they are: there is no scorecard place on the golf cart. There were no towels in the golf cart. The staff seemed relatively nonchalant, which is What you might expect in Colorado, and that’s fine. The greens were not great, which made putting difficult on numerous occasions. The layout was nice. Not terribly difficult. Beautiful views. I would say that the greens fees were slightly overpriced for the value you received an exchange. All in all, A decent experience on a public course.
Cooper Mountain Golf always pleases!
Great course. Excellent value. Course ranger was awesome! We had a huge slow down ahead and he did his job! Got everyone back on pace. You can't beat the scenery with all the mountains surrounding this course. It is definitely one for the bucket list.
Cooper Mountain Golf always pleasing!
Absolutely beautiful! SCENERY!. Course ranger was on point when there was a huge slowdown ahead of us. Challenging holes with unbeatable scenery!
Average
A fun course to play. However I felt it was a bit overpriced for the current conditions.
Great location at Copper Mountain
Great, easy playing course. Value was excellent for using golf now discount.
Overpriced, bad layout, goofy
Let me preface this review saying I know its hard to make a course in the mountain resorts but Copper has easily done the worst job at it. At first it starts off great, youre teeing off in the mountains on a nice long par 4 but then you get to the green which is bumpy, and extremely scuffed up. This green quality is the same for every hole by the way. After about3 holes you're then shooting in the resort of copper, not anywhere near the mountain. One hole even has you teeing off on the side of I-70. As for course quality the fairways are ok to pretty good for the most part, the greens as previously mentioned are pretty bad, and the tee boxes are pretty torn up. The course also has some tight fairways and pretty difficult holes. Overall though most other mountain courses are a much better bang for your buck. If this course was $30-$40 then it would have been ok for the quality and layout but at its current price I would recommend playing at another course in the mountains.
So so condition. Easy course. Winter kill on greens. Hard to call it a 100$ for 18 course. But they all seem to be this price in the mountains
Fun!
Had a blast playing with another twosome fro Mexico! Beautiful course. How can you go wrong!
