A golf oasis in a big city

Inverness golf course in centennial Colorado is a very well designed , old school type course. My son and I played 3 rounds over 3 days using a different set of tees each day. The course was in very good condition especially for early may. Greens were flawless, running fast but not ridiculously so. The staff at the club was exceptional, attending to our every need. Matt, David and Clayton in the golf shop, plus michael and others outside , were always available to assist us in any way, from moving a tee time to avoid a forecasted rainy afternoon ,to storing and cleaning our clubs in preparation of each day's play. Cart girls on the course were always available, it seemed.
The attached hotel is now operated by Hilton, so if you're a Hilton Honors member you receive the appropriate upgrades, making that part of your golf trip more pleasant. The rooms were excellent, having been recently updated with the Hilton takeover. The hotel restaurants are good, with the fireside grill being our favorite. Truly , you never have to leave the resort, but if you desire to go to downtown, a Rockies game for example, a shuttle driver will take you to the light rail station where a 35 minute train ride takes you a short walk away from the ballpark. Overall, the value of our stay was exceptional. We were booked on a golf package at a very reasonable price for what you get. A beautiful golf oasis in a big city.

Fun and Challenging Course

Inverness is an awesome course to play; great conditions, tough layout, and not very crowded. It's a parkland layout with tree lined fairways, some elevation change, and plenty of water hazards. You can play this course over and over and not get bored of it. I'd recommend Inverness to anyone who gets the opportunity to play. Par 3's here are brutal.

Very nice course

I really liked the course. It was in great shape although they are doing some work on several holes. Condition was very good and the greens rolled true.
