Great Course. Got lost three times
As a first timer, it’s very confusing because it is three nine hole courses. The biggest issue is that there’s not very good signage directing you to the next tee. I got lost three times.
Aearation
Should have it posted somewhere on the app the dates for aeration. Greens were just punched and sanded. Not playable. I get it I’d March Not worth any money to play when other courses were open
Kodiak
Had a great time. Staff was very friendly. Course was in typical winter conditions. Greens just a bit bumpy from late fall punching. Fairways were fine. As it turned out, at 76 years old, I shot my best round ever (84)
Love this Course
Really enjoyed our round but didn't start off well. The golf cart attendant was rude, and not at all helpful! He wasn't busy when we arrived but completely ignored us. When we asked a question his response was short and a bit rude. Other than that we thouroughly enjoyed the round.
Great course, windy day
Great course, windy day
We played the black bear and the grizzly. For February golf, the course was in great condition. It seems that the greens were aerated not so long ago, but they were in great shape, still very true. Sand was fluffy despite recent rains. The wind was very strong on the day that we played.
The pace of play was good. We finished the round in just over 3 1/2 hours, which is excellent
Good value in the winter months
Really enjoyed playing Black Bear and Grizzly. Pretty easy course, especially since it’s under repair in the winter and we played from the white tees. Good value for the money in the winter while the summer is a little bit steep. Not many areas to get in trouble along the fairway, but the greens make up for it with major undulation. I would definitely recommend this course to my friends and will come back myself!
Soggy wet course
Still can’t complain 60 degrees in January to play. Slow due to cart path only and the wetness of the course.
