Heritage Shores

Played here 3 times recently and I recommend playing in the morning for the best experience. Carts are iffy in the afternoon as is pace of play. By iffy, I mean carts could die on you. Additionally there is no starter at or near the first tee, and groups tend to tee off early here so you could miss the group you're supposed to be paired with if you are a single.

Very nice course. Water on almost every hole. My partner had some issues with avoiding water hazards on the right, left, and over, but still enjoyed the course. Some fairways were kind of narrow. Greens were a bit quick, but sure. Overall, a very enjoyable round.

Course was an excellent shape. Slower group let me play through and finished the round in about 3 hours as a single. Fun layout. Fairways in great shape. . Wide fairways. No GPS on cart and starter didn't tell me pin placements so approach shot were challenging plus greens plus greens were fast so difficult to hold green when I had long approach shots.

Plays about 6600 yards from the championship tees (one up from tournament tees) and 138 slope. Challenging but fair.

Nice warmup area with grass tees and free range balls. Nice. bar and pro shop as well.

3rd time around the course , spend a lot of weekends in Rehobeth and 45 minute drive from our place. Course playing great, greens rolling nice and the 3 bunkers I landed in are perfect. Friday of a holiday weekend and got the round in as a 4some front , 3some back , in under 4 hours. Is comparable price wise with some of the other nicer courses in area. Will be back this summer for sure !

First time playing here. Besides the water there is not too much trouble to get into. Yes, there is a lot of ponds. Coming from Colorado where the average cost for a round of golf is $65-$80 Heritage Shores was great. Other places near by think they are PGA type places charging ridiculous prices and taking advantage of locals and visitors where Heritage is not. At least not now. I’d definitely come back.

We love this course, great fair layout with challenges but not impossible. Pretty wide fairways, but still targeted landing areas for a good score. Only downside is right now there’s a lot of housing construction around a lot of holes on the front nine. Nothing that effects the course at all, but can be loud and have the feel of golfing through some heavy construction with heavy equipment. We usually golf in afternoon after work, and this being a retirement community, there really isn’t a nice bar to go to after a round at this time. We usually have to go elsewhere for our after round beer. The bar looks fun and has a great patio, we just never catch it before it closes

Many of the tee boxes needed work. They did not affect my play. Other then that I love this course. We are up from Estero FL.

Very friendly staff. Fantastic course. Some construction at hole 3 can be confusing where to go if your not familiar with the course and the temporary cart path.
Definitely will be back for another round .

Nice course in good shape and a nice layout. I played from the white tees which made it challenging for me. A couple holes had little Landing area with water on one side and not much space on the other. Club selection was very tough for me on those holes. The round came with a practice bucket, but no balls were in the machine making for little practice swings. The distance between holes is long so walking would be really tough. But overall course was in very good shape, greens were quick but not crazy fast.

Then came the last three holes. Bummer! Go see fir yourself, you’ll be glad you did.
