Brasstown Blessing
The price on this site was awesome and they honored it with absolutely no red tape. Everyone on the course were friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. Course was beautiful.
Sparkle City Jewell
Been playing the course for 20 years. Amazing! Could play there everyday and never get tired of the layout and challenges.
A gem in the mountains
I'd been wanting to play this course for a while and finally had the chance while passing through Young Harris, GA. Beautiful views, good course conditions and excellent weather made for a great round. Better have your sand game tuned up because what it doesn't have in water hazards, it makes up for in bunkers. I would definitely recommend it and plan on returning to play it again.
Best course in the mountains, great day.
Lovely setting in a valley surrounded by mountains, very well maintained course, friendly staff, and a challenging lay-out. Large greens and soft bunker sand make this a course worth returning too.
killer sand traps
Staff was courteous helpful amassbfriendly. Beverage cart circled a few times throughout play. Course was in great condition especially considering there had been so much rain this spring. Sand traps will eat your shots. We spotted a red fox in the brush too.
Return trip planned
This course is a must play. Greens were perfect although very slow, probably because of all the recent rain. Some minor winter kill in places. Mostly dry, only 3 holes cart path only. Lots of bunkers. Great views. Really good variety of holes that will make you use most, or all clubs in your bag. Pretty wide landing areas off the tee. My 2nd time playing will absolutely be back.
Challenging but rewarding
I tipped the course out and even though I'm a long hitter it gave me a run for my money...especially the par 3's. Course was a bit wet (which didn't help my distance) but it has rained the previous 2 days. Greens were fast but fair (although still had some plugs from aeration). Layout is phenomenal and great for both the advanced and beginning players.
March 26th round of golf
Played after a rainy day. Was windy but the course had grass on the fairways from which to hit, but of course in was dormant. All in all a very good day.
Beaches & water
Really liked it...it played long because of moisture & standing water! I want to play it when the greenery is there. Lots of sand & water but make u play smarter.
great course
This is a great course in the mountain. Would recommend anyone wanting to go there to use golfnow. Played for $30 regular price is around $75.
The course is pretty challenging quite a few well placed sand traps and water hazards.
Great course...well-maintained
The golf course is attached to a country club, beautiful, and is well-maintained. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Great place to golf by yourself or with a foursome.
This course has poor drainage
Their hadn't been any rain in three days when I played this course and it was very soggy. It was cart path only which was unexpected. The tee boxes and greens were either elevated or below the cart path which was a tiring experience for a senior such as myself. This course is definitely for the younger golfers. The carts did not have gps range finders which you would expect from a supposedly resort such as this. Not enough value for the price.
The best course in North Georgia!
Love this course! It is beautiful, always in good to excellent condition. It must be on your list of courses to play on your stay in the North Georgia mountains!
Golfing Brasstown
Great place to stay and play a great game of golf.
Tournament behind us
We had a great time at Brasstown. However, there was a local "best ball" tournament which started after we teed off. We had players "breathing down our necks"! We play ready golf and are very considerate of pace of play but this was very intimidating. We let 2 groups pass us only to have more coming.
A Keeper
The quality of this course is excellent. The views are most enjoyable and there are no homes on the course.
The designer made the course fair but challenging for women. Each hole shares the problems for each tee regardless of where you tee from.
Conditions are great . A wonderful round. Had a fawn follow me for two holes...what a gallery.
Great Links course
This is a great golf course and the best by far for North Georgia. The course is lush with all of the rain we keep having and I am sure it is diffucult to mow . Stay in the fairways as you will lose plenty of balls if not.
I would only ask they cut some of the high stuff so the tee shots are not blind. The course is plenty tough without blind tee shots.
Great course
Love the course and the staff. They always make you feel special. Some very tough holes, especially the last three.
Yeah, this is Golf!
Beautiful course in the mountains. Whenever you get tired of playing the same old inexpensive public courses and want to treat yourself, this is it. The setting is beautiful, greens were fantastic, and oh those fairways of lush green carpet. Driving range, putting green, plenty of water to drink, even a beverage cart on a not very busy day. It's in a resort so the restaurant, gift shop and clubhouse are all in the same bldg.
The course has plenty of traps, some, but not a whole lot of water, and fairways that are just open enough to present a challenge.
Can't wait to come back in November.
Great Conditioned course
Brasstown was beautifully challenging to play. The course condition is very good and the pace of play was great. It is a course that brings you back to play again.
