Always the best
Very consistent and well conditioned golf course. Fun layout and challenging.
Great Value
This is a very nice course for the money. It’s really a hidden gem. I would definitely highly recommend
Great Course
I booked to play at this course while I was at a function in Eufaula, Alabama. It seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but was surprisingly a great course! The course was well laid out, and overall a lot of fun to play. The greens were a little tricky as they had recently been aerated, but they were all maintained. I’ll definitely play here again when I’m in the area. This course is three hours from my home, and I wish it was closer.
Great Course
The course was in great shape, especially the greens. Will be back.
Regulars
We play at Meadow Links in a regular basis. Since the State Parks system has taken it back over they are making improvements. Greens are in great shape. Bunkers still need work, but rumor has it they will be working on them soon. They no longer have the membership option that we have played under for the past several years. We are hoping it returns.. it is more crowded than it once was, but pace of play is usually not an issue. It lis a beautiful course. Wildlife is plentiful. Nice course to walk if you like to walk.
Overrated!
$40 rate seems reasonable until you see that the sand traps have been neglected for several years, many are flooded with water year round and the sand washed out in others. Irrigation leaks are not addressed for months, some red tee boxes need sod, the range balls are extremely old and #18 pin is broken. It’s only $46 at the Robert Trent Jones Highland Oaks course in Dothan, AL and that course is always in professional-grade condition!
Links Golf…love it
The course layout and remote location truly make this one of my favorites. Cold and windy fall morning made this round even better. Course looks great keep up the good work. A+
Don’t Have High Expectations
The sand traps have been totally unplayable for 4 years. Several are always filled with water. Some tee boxes are worn out and difficult to push a tee into. Some of the fairways need aeration. And, some cart paths are broken up. Despite this, they’re raising their rates to $40, starting in November. The Robert Trent Golf Trail @ Highland Oaks in Dothan only charges $46.95 with purchase of their $45 Trail Card and their course is ALWAYS very well-maintained.
Links golf is the best
This course has an awesome layout, and the day I played the wind was howling, making it truly feel like links golf, which is both strange and amazing since the course is in GA :)
Excellent, Enjoyable Course
This was the first time I have played this course but it definitely won’t be the last; in fact I would play it regularly if it wasn’t a two hour drive one-way drive from home.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the course layout is very enjoyable; my only complaint is that the fairways were cut very unevenly.
Golf Outing with friends
The course was in great shape except for a few greens had a fungus which made putting impossible
