Good round
Enjoyed the round. The front nine greens a little slower then the back nine. I love the layout of the course
Good time
Excellent experience. My grandson and I really enjoyed the course !
Front nine and back nine couldn’t be more different. Makes for a fun and challenging golf experience. 10/10 would recommend
Very Fun and Great Value
This was my first time playing Brazell’s Creek. I really enjoyed the course and the layout and the variety of holes and the total difference between the front nine and the back nine.
The course is a tale of two nines! Front nine is a traditional southern course layout with water, large oak and pine trees lining the fairways, etc. The back nine is totally different and is a links style course. Almost not a tree at all on the back nine. Two very fun and different nine hole courses for one price!
Great golf and an amazing value for the money!
Course is very well kept and maintained. The great golf and layout get for a VERY reasonable price makes Brazell’s Creek an EXCELLENT value. The worst part was that the greens were quite slow versus what I am used to playing. Also, make sure to take plenty of bug spray. The bugs are crazy thick and relentless. If you do not have bug spray, you will definitely regret not taking any with you.
I was also amazed how those playing the course have very little, to no regards for the etiquette of golf (drive their carts right up next to the greens, park their carts right next to the tee boxes (especially on the back nine), at least four different fivesome playing together, driving the carts wherever you want with no regard for the cart paths or signs stating to “stay out of natural areas”. I did not see a ranger, so it seems locals do what they want. This is a Georgia State Park course. Course was in very good condition. I will definitely be back to play again if I am in the area.
GREENS WERE AMAZING
DURING THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, THIS COURSE REMAINED OPEN WITH A FEW COURSE MODIFICATIONS TO ENSURE SAFETY FOR ALL. THIS INCLUDED PROVIDING HAND SANITIZER, CLEANING SUPPLIES FOR CARTS, AND PULLING THE FLAG PINS SO SO THAT NO ONE HAD TO POTENTIALLY CONTAMINATE THEMSELVES. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, AS ALWAYS. OVERALL HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. ROB, DAWN, AND THE REST OF THE STAFF DO A GREAT JOB KEEPING ME AND MY PLAYING PARTNERS WANTING TO COME BACK.
Great Course with very friendly staff
Had a great time playing this course. Always very helpful staff. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area. Great value too!
Staff
The staff needs a fire lit under her. It takes forever to simply just pay and get out. There was a line almost out of the door waiting to pay and all when I went . Everyone was talking about how ridiculous it was. And this wasn’t just that day because we have been multiple times to play and it’s the same. If it wasn’t so close and we had our own course then that course would definitely struggle to get players to play.
However, the course and everything else was great.
State Park Fun
It is a tale of two courses! Front nine is a traditional southern course layout. Beautiful old pines and hardwoods line the fairways! The back nine looks more like an old links course. Two courses for one price!
Great golf for the money!
Great course
This was a all around good course everything to the tee box, fairway to green was top notch quality
Back again
Got another Hot Deal for this course and had to come back. Everything is groomed to perfection. I play senior tees but this course is LONG. It’s in wonderful condition, not crowded and a fun time. Front side is pretty challenging, back is a long trip. We drive about 90 minutes to play it but worth spending the day. Great course, but the first cut is a little deep and easy to loose a ball in. We’ll come back.
This is truly a hidden gem. Play the first nine and get a big surprise on back nine. Would recommend to all golfers.
