Lake Blackshear Resort and Golf Club is located in Cordele, Georgia within the Georgia Veterans State Park. The hotel is located on Lake Blackshear, a several-thousand-acre lake with a full marina and boat and pontoon rentals. The Cypress Grill features lakefront and outdoor dining with live entertainment. Located onsite is the Veterans Memorial Golf Course ("Vet's Course") at Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club. The resort features a main lodge with 14 guest rooms, plus more spacious villa and multi-bedroom cabin accommodations. The 18-hole golf course winds around the lake and was designed by Denis Griffiths. Additional activities include a military museum and Sam Shortline Train. Nice weekend get away
Very forgiving fairways, greens in good shape, fairways in good shape. Good challenge for the moderate golfer.
Scenic, well designed course
The course is well laid out. The setting is beautiful & interesting. The clubhouse was nice & staff very friendly. I am disabled and drove the cart, while my husband played.
Sweet course but CRAPPY GREENS
Love the course and layout but awful greens! It was like putting on the fairway. Need some major TLC!
Great course, Bad Greens
Have played here many times. Always been a great layout, nice surroundings. Fairways are ok but the greens are the downfall. They need to spend some money and get the greens fixed.

The greens were in very rough condition. I’ve never seen them like that before. Lots of large bare areas where the grass had not grown in. May just be the cooler spring weather.

Great Course
Great course layout. Fairways are in great condition but the greens could use some more attention.
Nice course
Not my first time at this course. It has beautiful scenery but most of the fairways were covered with worm mounds. Also not the courses fault or anything but some of the other golfers there were extremely rude.
Good course but dismal greens
Course was in good shape and a nice challenge but greens were horrible. No grass at all on greens. Need to build temporaries and reseed greens.

Range was closed again. Ball retriever was down again.
