Having fun in south Ga.
Course was in its typical good shape but lately have noticed some type of weed activity on the greens guess its just the time of year still overall great place to have date day with your bride.
A peaceful round
The Lakes is a well maintained public course in a Georgia state park. It is in a very rural area and so wildlife abounds and quiet is one of its hallmarks. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. The staff is very friendly and the clubhouse is clean and rustic. Limited options for dining is its major drawback. Very affordable.
Quite place to play
Tee to green good shape a little busy but that is what happens on a friday
Worth the drive
Had some delay with temp. but still a great day to play mowers were delayed also but no biggie understand the situation will be back.
Great day to play
Once again course was in great shape staff very professional will be back again great partner to have with Golf Now.
Worth the Drive
The is a state park course that is a bit off the beaten path. However, it is well worth the drive. I've been playing the course in Feb and March for the past few years and every year the course gets better. I'll put the greens up against any other course. It's a fun, challenging, and pretty layout.
Great course for the drive
This is a great place to play no outside distractions only you and the course would recommend to everyone else but I’m afraid that it will get out and then get too crowded so I’m keeping it to myself
Great Value
While vacationing on Amelia Island we drove the 90 minutes to this course Located adjacent to Okefenoki Swamp State Park, this course has awesome landscape - no homes!!!
Well maintained and best greens we played so far. Reasonable priced range balls and super practice range with pitching green and bunkers. Sand is country club quality and on the course too. Price point is excellent. Worth the drive. Friendly staff. Playing again soon and will tour the Park too afterwards. Challenging and fair.
Off the beaten track but worth a visit
I"ve played this course about 6 times but only during February as this is when I'm in the area. It's about an hours drive but the course is in good shape and the cost is fair. I normally play in the afternoon when it's not busy and play quickly. This time I started mid-morning and it took five hours to play. Not accepatable or fun. There was actually a sixsome a few holes ahead. The ranger was trying to break them up. I'll definitely return but only play in the afternoon.
Love it
Love this course just got stuck behind 3 groups playing slow so we skipped the last three holes.
Nice greens
This course always delivers a great opportunity to get better on my game will be back soon
