Overpriced
Overpriced. Totally out of the way to get anything at clubhouse after nine holes.
No Ball washers.
Nice Improvements
The course was in great shape and the renovations were excellent. They got rid of some of the wacky holes. It was a great experience. We’ll go back.
Cypress bend
Early in the year and less than 1 year removed from Hurricane damage. Course was in rally good shape and improving every day. Greens were smooth and true, fairways were a rough in spots but I would go back.
Played 4 in a row in early March. On the last day even got to get in on the local scramble tournament. Great people there. Didn't get to see any gators though my ball kept looking for them.
Cost $98 a day for weekend with cart but got a free hotdog and soda on the turn.
Great views on a peaceful track
Slow day so course was slow. Played as a twosome and never had to wait. Great views when you play along the lake. Greens were good but had a few rough spots with the season. Want to play again later after weather warms up
This course has beautiful views
The course was enjoyable before being renovated. It is even better since they reopened. The course has some challenging par 5’s and beautiful views of Toledo Bend.
This place has improved so much over the last year I will definitely be back
Great Renovation
First time playing since the course was renovated. The course visuals are amazing along Toledo Bend Reservoir. The new course layout removed the issues with silly designs. The greens overall rolled great but a 2 had minor issues but still rolled pure.
I had a hot rate which made the cost reasonable with the options within an hour. The course is not easy to get to from anywhere but worth the trip at the hot rate. The weekend and full rate are a little high compared but a great change of pace from the other top courses in north central louisiana
Will definitely be back!
This was a great course! Tee boxes and greens were in great shape, the course layout was awesome. The views were amazing the whole time! Probably some of the fastest greens I’ve played; your ball rolls for miles. If you have a nasty hook, bring extra balls with you.
Driving range could benefit from a few more bays.
Practice green was nice.
No cart girl going around, but it was a slow day and drizzling the whole time.
Watch out taking the cart down to hole 1 if it’s wet. Slip & Slide.
Big Ben
First time playing this course great layout challenging course especially on back nine. All greens good and fast except about two greens I will definitely be back.
Wow
Let’s just say the bend is better ! Improved fairways and greens lead to more challenges while out on the course. A lot has been done in such a short time. Can’t wait to see what they spring brings.
See you on the bend
Cypress got better
Just reopened and made great changes to course. By the spring will be a great place to play golf
Very pretty course. A couple of greens are having trouble growing in after the renovation. Pace of play wasn’t great. Eat before you make the drive out. Can’t even get a hotdog in the grill at the course.
NOT WORTH 100.00
