Wild bluff
This course is beautiful and the scenery is amazing. The fairways are very nice and well kept. The rough can be very challenging!! Also enjoy seeing the two foxes that hang out there. It is worth the drive from lower Michigan for sure.
Love this course
We try to play every time we come up to the UP. 4-5 x a year.
The greens are spacious and well groomed. One of the loveliest course around. Scenery is awesome.
One of the best courses I have played.
We booked this online late at night before we played. It was unfamiliar to me because we were traveling. Our tee time was a "hot deal" offered by GolfNow. We were totally shocked at the wonderful deal we got as this may be the best course my wife and I have ever played. I really don't know anything that was lacking. It was simply a wonderful experience. We were given a great gift through this "hot deal", but we want to play this one again the next time we are in the area.
Great golf and views
The course was in great condition even after lots of rain. The pace of play was a good match and the scenic views were spectacular. Had a great time.
Love this course
We play this course a couple times each year and always come back for more!
Great course
Course maintenance/conditions were great, fun layout, lots of scoring opportunities. Got a great rate through golfnow so value for play was awesome but at regular rates it's a steep. Beverage cart came by lots, and the carts had gps in them so very helpful for first timers at the course. All in all a good course
nice day for golf
While the course was in good shape they had a problem with a tournament extending well past their time slot with the result that at one point we were told our time could be up to 2 hours late this was very upsetting as we had driven 2 hours to golf for a 2:36 tee off time. We decided to wait and the upshot we did get on 45-50 minutes late i believe they had stragglers skip holes and finish.
We played the back 9 first and from this point on moved along quickly.through 18 holes which was good as we had the 2 hr drive back home after the round. We felt the club could have been more proactive re this tournament .apparently several groups were late in arriving for this tournament at this point they should have been told the club had tee offs booked from 2 on and they had to either finish or stop golfing by this time The onus should have been on these groups not the people who booked tee off times.
The staff were nice to us and apologetic but we still were upset considering we booked in good faith
Raining!
Love the course but the weather was not good. Played 9 holes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to a nicer day to play there again.
Great Layout
Pleasant surprise. Very challenging and in great condition even though Cart Path only due to rain day prior. We "owned the course"....3 1/2 hours.
love this course
always love playing this course...beautiful views.
Great golf course
It was a great golf course and everyone was very friendly
nice if you have time
Very nice track, but mid monday morning was full of slow players.
Front 9 was real nice & quick, but back 9 was backed up, due to time i could not finish my round
Scenic, Challenging Course
Not your average course, great scenery, well maintained with friendly considerate staff. Nice pace of game- no long waits. There are convenient rest room through out the course, on cart gps and score trackers.Definitely a must golf course for the upper UP
Need better signage
I was directed to the back 9starting on ten. There was no mention of where 10 was on the way up. (It is up on top of "The hill"). The sign shows 1, it would be nice if it had 1 and 10
Other than that the course is a good challenge and one you will remember for the scenery as well as the course.
great course
Great course and staff, enjoyed the course. Pace of play was good.
Great Course
Enjoy every time I play - Course is always in top shape with fast greens - Elevation changes and great lake views - Beautiful in the Fall season - A tough but fair course
A Day at the Wild Bluffs
Golfing at Wild Bluff was a pleasant surprise. Due to the rain yesterday and the weather forecast for today I did not expect to get in a full round of golf. The course drained very well for the amount of rain in the area. I enjoyed the course for the scenic views, fast greens, and fairways that are moderately wide. Pace of play was no problem because balls that find the dense vegetation beyond the rough are impossible to find. You learn quickly that searching for them is an exercise in futility. There are a few elevation changes that will have you talking long after you have left the course. This golf course has character, charm, and it is picturesque. Holes 15 and 18 are the best signature holes, so bring your camera. I am a 10 handicap and I found the course to be very challenging, and fair. I plan to return and bring friends with me.
Hit me straight or bring extra balls.

Very very fast greens
Excellent view of lake Superior and Sault Ste Marie ON. Good fairway grass and very fast green too fast for me.
