Boyne Mountain Resort
About Boyne Mountain Resort
The 36-hole Boyne Mountain Resort is the most family-friendly of the three Boyne Resorts properties in northern Michigan. The Avalanche Bay waterpark and beach at Deer Lake are perfect for children and families. There's also an events lawn with a putting course, tennis courts, villas and tiki bar adjacent to the beach. The Grand Mountain Lodge is the newest and most luxurious of the accommodation choices, which includes the Clock Tower Lodge, Creekside Condominiums, Edelweiss Lodge. Mountain Cabins, Mountain Villas, Villas at Disciples Ridge and Boynehof. There are more than a dozen dining options spread throughout the resort and its ski village. Stop at the Adventure Center in the village to set up most activities: Ziplining, horseback riding, tennis academy, wakeboarding camps, Segway tours, paintball and more. Disc golf, hiking, biking and fishing are some of the many local activities away from the course. The Alpine and Monument courses are classic wooded layouts that host the Boyne Tournament of Champions every summer.Facts

Great course!
Excellent condition
The address in GolfNow is wrong. It shows it as 439 W Deer Lake and it is actually 439 East Deer Lake drive. Needs to be updated by GolfNow
Beautiful
Loved the course very fun
great course
Great course, in excellent condition. it's worth it. Hope to be back.
Golf at the Monument
Course was in great condition, greens were fast and true. Beautiful scenery, definitely recommend this course.
The best
Probably my favorite Boyne course including all of the highlands. Fairways immaculate. Views gorgeous, especially in fall when I played. Just beautiful course. Challenging but not rediculous. .
Greens were very challenging
Was on in regulation but was challenging to two putt for par
Monuments
Course was in great shape - Greens true and fast. Course in great condition. Could benefit from updating carts with yardage and hope details. Love the monuments and descriptions of the holes
Well maintained Fun to play
Boyne courses are always great to play! The Alpine at the Mountain is no exception! Very well maintain and in great condition. Greens are moderately fast, and the fairways are groomed and watered. Our only complaint on this day was on the back nine we had a sixsome playing in front of us (a twosome) and they were in no hurry. Even on #18, when they (finally) finished, they took their time putting their bags in order before (finally) leaving the area around the green. I won’t go into the pro shop’s reaction to our complaint, suffice it to say it was not good. Tough getting good help in the COVID beleaguered economy! But, if your not stuck behind a sixsome, the Alpine is a great round of golf.
Review
Excellent Layout. The greens were in Ok hape only and was not rolling that well.
The off course ameneties for food selection was not great but the staff were awesome and extremely friendly
We were a group of 6 and for the money we paid was not justified by course conditions.
The greens in practice green was perfect but we did not find them in same shape on the courses
The views and layout was awessome
All in all we will recommend this course but at a lesser price of about $70.00 is a good value
NOT WHAT WE EXPECED.
Only able to play 2 holes due to lots of rain and threats of thunder & lightening.
What I saw I like! Staff very friendly. Only issue was that I was able to purchase 18 holes on a special and then could not play due to weather. A rain check was given back in a voucher that was pro rated because we got in 2 holes. It would have been very customer friendly to at least given us a voucher for 9 holes (reason being we had a good deal for 18 due to a special and did not expect to get a voucher for 18). very disappointed in how the raincheck ws handled.
