TLC
Staff very friendly. Course has some great holes and is a nice layout. Some blind shots but course book was very helpful. Overall a good value, course itself could just use a little TLC. But considering everything would definitely play there again.
Best greens around. New pro Chris is awesome and very accommodating. I actually live on a course nearby and plan on moving to this course next year 20 minutes away from home.
ohter than getting only 9 holes in it was tough due to rain on half of holes...
Just Okay. Rather gimmicky with some Mickey Mouse greens.
Definitely requires course knowledge. Few holes are rather gimmicky, meaning just poor design. A few greens were like miniature golf, only missing the clown face. Bring a very good GPS system with you. Overall, I wouldn't rush to play here again.
Don't miss it
Golf Now had a great price so we thought we would try something new. Wonderful layout, great condition on greens and fairways. Don't be disappointed with a poor score, it is long and difficult, enjoy the surroundings. Wooded and hilly but a ton of fun. Don't miss it!
Grandview worth the trip
Scenic well laid out golf course requires you to use every club in your bag and to think and hit good golf shots to shoot a good score without penalizing you too harshly for poorly played shots. Holes are spaced so you can see others playing while not interfering with your round of golf. Parking lot had plenty of cars but the pace of play was surprisingly good with minimal waiting (expect to play in less than 3 and a half hours for 18 holes). Fall colors should be spectacular with amazing elevated views on quite a few holes.
Friendly staff, including a beautiful lady in the clubhouse willing to satisfy your every need before and after the round. Worth the drive for the price, playable for all skill levels, and would recommend playing again, I will definitely be back
Another perfect morning
We were able to get the first tee time on Monday, my son and in played 18 in 3 hours and 15 minutes and enjoyed what I consider to be the best course in the West Michigan, the conditions were perfect, the greens were fresh cut and when we arrived at 7:00 the pro brought us out our cart as we pulled in. Course layout, condition and service all in one package, well done.
Great Course/Excellent Value
We love playing this course several times a year! It is always in excellent condition. Elevated tees, gorgeous views and each hole is unique. It presents a challenge for the men and is fair to the ladies.
Fun course at great price
Mixture of fair and challenging holes. Island green is most often into the prevailing making for extra excitement.
Beautiful course
Was an excellent deal for this nice course greens were in great shape
Great course
One of the best courses in the area, a true hidden gem.
Awesome course!
This is an absolutely beautiful course, so if you get an opportunity to play or are from out of town, I highly recommend this course. You will love it!
Thoroughbred
The course was in excellent condition and some of the pin placements were challenging. Overall it was a great course and very friendly staff!!
Needs work
Long awaited chance to play left a lot to be desired. Out of the way location, associated with horseback riding/water park (Double JJ Ranch) did not impress. Understanding that new ownership has only been in place 2 years, there is reason to believe it will get better. Designer(Arthur Hils) was brought back to review and advise changes. While the layout is scenic, the conditions on tee boxes, fairways, and most all of course was fair at best.Following wet spring everything was extremely dry even around low lying areas of swamp and lake. Despite everything being so arid, the greens were the only other positive point of note. Very true and fair. To be fair the course has not been taken care of probably because they clearly have not attracted the business needed to support the Double JJ property.. More attention to golf only would go a long way to making it a challenging nice place to play
