Great Greens. Great Value
Course was a little wet from the rain but greens were excellent condition. Rolled extremely true. Very good value for the price.
I really love this course. It’s very scenic and challenging.
Loved this course
The legend is a beautiful course. The course was in great shape and quite challenging.
Good Course Bad Service
Asked in the clubhouse if there is beverage cart service. Was told there was. Never saw her. Asked a ranger to send her our way when we saw him on 3rd hole. Never saw her. Halfway house closed. Course does not loop anywhere near clubhouse at the turn. Saw Ranger again on 15, was very rude when we asked him about the beverage cart. Not the service or friendliness I would expect from a resort golf course. Very dissapointing
The course was amazing. From tee-boxes too greens, it all looked great. The only downside was, the food was a little on the high price. Hotdog was $4.75 but no drink or chips. Nothing special about the hotdog. Other then that, perfect golf course.
Challenging and gorgeous
Enjoy the elevation changes, but keep your ball on the fairway for a fun round!
Glorious 4th of July round at Cedar
Please read my previous reviews. Cedar is in great shape and they've taken out a couple of trees on the 18th to make the tee shot and hole more playable. One of my favorite courses....this course never gets old. Wonderful Weiskopf design and if you play this course a few times you really get to know the rolls bounces and speed slots. Highly recommend.
Great Up North Course
This is a fairly open simple pretty golf course. It doesn’t feel like it is punishing you yet has some challenging hills, bunkers and long par threes. Not much water around the course.
Beautiful out of the way gem
Great course that is very challenging but playable. The scenery was breathtaking.
Better than you think!
This course is better than you might think and def a good value. Greens are in great shape. Most slope back to front but grain is front to back. Prevailing hill always dictates the break. Very short 6k from tips.
First class course and facility
The way golf courses used to be. Great facility good layout fabulous conditions did not look like the typical course today that can not afford to maintain its facility. Absolutely perfect.
Cedar River is always a very pleasant play. See my review from last June and previous Junes....one of my favorite courses in the entire world. Highly recommend. Cedar River is a do not miss course if you travel to Northern Michigan. Course is very wet from recent rains but still very playable. Greens smooth as glass.
We played on May 20 at 9:30 am and it was very cold and damp. We had the golf course to ourselves. Even though I had rained a lot the previous day the course was in great shape and the greens were faster than they looked. We are visiting the area from Seattle but if we come back we will probably play this course again.
Many things to do off the course. Bellaire is a great small town. The Legend is a great test for all skill levels.
Enjoyed the whole day! A great course for all types of players.
Wow! What an experience. Great, Great course. Played all over Northern Michigan and this was our favorite. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes all in excellent condition. Price was great and so was the pace of play. Have to do this course many times more
