Wow!
First time playing here and will be back for sure. The course was in pristine shape. I played by myself so pace wasn’t an issue. Large thunderstorm blew threw and I was offered a full replay if I chose to not wait it out. Being from out of town, I’m glad I waited.
My only one suggestion would be adding in beverage cart service. That would have earned a perfect score!
Good not great
Everything was good, the carts are neat with bluetooth. Greens were in good shape but slow. Dry weather lead to some dry spots.
Outstanding
I have played this course many times. It is always in great shape with spectacular fairways and awesome greens. The layout is challenging with trees or water on the left and right. It's a course that demands good tee shots. It is a fun course and beautiful as it winds through the old tree farm area.
Hit it straight
TPGC was well maintained and picturesque. The course is cut through a pine grove and rarely rewards the crooked shot. The fairways were very nice, tee boxes level and the greens were consistent but on the slow side. The course is not long, so above average golfers score will be dependent on how straight the ball is hit from the tee. Length doesn’t matter but for a few of the holes.
Allegedly there was a beverage cart but we didn’t cross its path the 4 hours we were out there, so some improvement could be had with that.
The golf c arts had GPS and Bluetooth speakers, which was nice.
