Great day to play, Golf Now had an extra 20%off on hot buys and weather was great for November. Played in 3 hours even with following a foursome on the front 9. Greens were smooth and fast . A fun course but you never know if it’ll be a 3 or 5 hour round. Be sure to play in the spring when the Dogwoods and Redbuds are blooming. In November it puts a premium on hitting the fairways as the leaves can be heck if you get on the edges.

Enjoyed playing this course, fun and challenging at the same time. Views were awesome. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was green were a little beat up and fairways and rough looked a little stressed for early October.

Fairways and greens were in good shape. It was dry so if you get off the fairway into the hard surface your ball will roll to destinations unknown. So keep it in the fairway.
Drive 3 hours assuming there would be lunch menu only to find out there were brats and hot dogs with chips. Dang covid I'm sure, so check ahead.

Playing all the other area courses, this is by far worst quality course. $80 to play compared to lake valley, four seasons, eldon, and Osage national,it is a joke what they charge for this course. I wouldn’t pay $40 to play this course. The greens were in terrible shape and was like putting off concrete and the bunkers were hard as a rock. The pace of play was terrible. It took 1hr 15 min to play 3 holes. We had to call the club house to speed up the pace of play. A foursome we totaled 7 hours to play 18.
Several better courses in the area to play than here especially for the price. For $80 will not recommend and will never not play here again.
We do a golf trip every year and everyone out of our group of 10 agreed it was the worst course in the area.

The day was absolutely gorgeous, so everyone was on the course. We did not expect for it to go quickly, but we had to quit after almost 5 hours of playing on hole 17. We teamed with a super nice couple to play with so it made the day much better. A tournament was there and bachelor party going on. Next time I would call first to see what is all going on before booking play. I will go back again for sure, just try to avoid that many players. It's hard to play a good round when it is that backed up.

We had an early tee time and made it through 9 holes in a little under 2 hours and 18 at exactly 4 hours. This came under the pace of play recommended by the course. This was our first time playing the course. We had a group behind us in league that were constantly right behind us on the same hole. We offered to let this group pass but were told they “weren’t in a hurry” and they did not pass. Multiple times this group hit into us and were 30-50 yards behind us waiting. I can appreciate being local to a course but either back off or pass, It ruined our experience. We enjoyed the course and the staff we talked to, but the gentleman behind us after our 8:30 AM tee time ruined our experience.

Good layout. Good condition. Lots of shot variety. Friendly staff.

I’ve played this course many times and pace of play can be slow and was again this time. Had many older members in front that weren’t that good and moved slow. I skipped three holes. That aside I really like the course and will go back when there is a good deal on golf now. Course was in great shape

Very tight fairways. We played the tips and it is a very challenging course. Awesome views but worth the price

I'm not a great golfer, so for me drives in the fairway are more of an aspirational goal than they are a common occurrence. Unfortunately for me, this course is relatively tight, so my lack of ball control leads to more investments in golf balls than in refreshments. That being said, one of my party managed to lose eight balls but find nine while he was looking for his so your mileage may vary. :)

Great course, though, if you don't mind a lot of ups and downs. It was hot when we played and some of the greens felt like Masters greens - you tap it and if you miss the hole suddenly your 6-foot birdie putt turns into a 20-foot par putt from the fringe.

If you're looking for a low score to make yourself feel good about picking this sport this probably isn't the course for you, but if you want to have a good time with a great staff and a fun course you'll find it here.

Would highly recommend this course as it has a great layout with beautiful scenery and it's in great condition.
