Glacier Park Lodge
About Glacier Park Lodge
The Glacier Park Lodge, part of the Glacier Park Collection, is home to the oldest grass-greens course in Montana. The course called “Oom-coo-ska-pes-che” or Big Green Blanket was built by the Great Northern Railway in 1928. There’s also a pitch-n-putt of nine short par 3s. Situated in the southeast corner of the national park, the Glacier Park Lodge has been the first stop for many visitors for decades. The historic hotel, established in 1913, is decorated by Douglas Fir logs and a stone fireplace in the lobby. It is the gateway to many outdoor recreational adventures in the park.Facts

Windy but Fun
the course was in great condition and the staff was very knowledgeable. it was a windy day and it made the already long par 5 even longer. overall it is a good course and i will keep playing this course.
Fun Course
Enjoyed playing a couple rounds, four laps on the 9 holer, while on annual visit to Glacier NP. This course was in better condition in 2013 than in the past. Fairways, greens and rough, were all well maintained. This course has some challenges that make the game interesting. Wide fairways that will let you go long. The roughs were cut short and easy to hit from. Greens ran true with moderate speed. The greens were soft and would hold incoming shots. Pro shop is small but has the essentials. If you like to walk your game be advised that 9 green is about a half mile from the clubhouse. Played in early September and had the course to myself. Scenery is Glacier National Park, spectacular.
