Good Course for Average to below golfers

There are plenty of positives about this course. It is in good shape, the setting is nice, the pace of play and the overall crowd conditions is very good. Walking is easy front 9 and you can tell that the "old" course had lots of thought put into it. Front 9 is a winner except for the funky layout (see below). The back 9 is a joke and there is no doubt that the only thought in constructing this "new 9" was to cram houses into the development. Don't get me wrong - I'm in the real estate business myself and I appreciate well done residential but not at the expense of the golf. Holes are miles apart, you almost get lost wandering around, yada yada.

The bad for a decent golfer - the course. Too many blind holes - I drove thru half the fairways, 90 degree layups on par 5's. To play this course properly for a good golfer, leave the driver at home, heck leave the 3 wood at home.

Anyway, if you hit the ball 200 yards and have a cart and are not bothered by the above issues this is a good course.

I found this course while working in Kalispell, MT. It is my new favorite in Montana. I booked as a singe on a hot deal, so the value was absolutely incredible. The course is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. I was treated like royalty from the moment I pulled in. The club house attendant was very helpful. The superintendent was on the course and took time to visit about the layout and conditions. I know I will definitely play again next time I am in the area.

I would definitly play this course again!

This was a last minute get away for my fiance' and me. The weather was awesome and we had a great time. Kyle Long, Pro and staff were all very courteous and friendly. Had a beer on the 19th hole and visited with some of the guests. Would go back in a minute! Thank you Meadow Lake for a great time!

Hot day in July

It was a Hot day in July but the course played nicely. Nothing really special, a basic layout that one could walk. Greens were very moderate speed but in good condition, fairways nicely cut with no bare spots, and blue grass rough was tough as usual. No water on course - for a hot day, but nice snack stand at the turn. An old 'resort' course that is holding up well, good for daily fee play. Golf Now Hot Dael rate was good and would not pay the suggested full rate !

Nice walking course

Spring conditions so a little damp in places. Very nice, moderate walking course. Some very long par 5s were very challenging. Greens were average speed and a little on the less challenging side.
