Nebraska Golf Resorts
It’s only in the 2010s that Nebraska has gotten into the golf travel game by opening up a foursome of resorts. The most famous is The Prairie Club, the three-course outpost in Valentine that opened in 2010, piggy-backing off the success of Sand Hills, the Bill Coore and Ben Crewshaw design that ushered in the modern age of architecture. Two of the resorts are actually golf clubs that have expanded to include stay-and-play accommodations onsite – Bayside Golf Club in Brule and Wild Horse in Gothenburg. The new Ohiya Casino & Lodge debuted in 2013 and added the Tatanka Golf Club in 2015.
Valentine, Nebraska
