Grape vines were cool...
Had a good price thanks to Golf Now.
Course conditions were less than presented.
I played with good people and I had a good round and time, Of course.
And yet, if I had paid their rate I would have left somewhat disappointed.
Course was good
Overal the course was good. We played twilight for 60 bucks and that was the max I would pay. Some of thr fairways were bad and the greens had so many ball marks. But this is pretty standard with thr hot summer we have had so I don’t mind. My main gripe was pace of play. We had a 4 some in front of us (A 2 some) and they would not let us pass. We had to legit drive up and ask. They really should have a ranger out on the course to
Make sure this doesn’t happen.
Crab grass
Fairways are nice greens choppy, tee boxes average. If you miss fairway you’re in crab grass not rough. 99$ on wknd is robbery
An absolute Beauty
From pulling up to the course I knew it was going to be a nice one. Very nice staff. Course layout if beautiful. Plush fairways, nice greens although some people need to learn how to pick up their feet. Forgiving course with some hard holes sprinkled in with a few easy ones. Overall, I’d say one of the nicest courses by the Jersey Shore. Lastly, I’d tell you to get a weekend out of this place. Bring the women with you let them have a day in the spa as the guys golf and then hit the winery. Food after the round was excellent and the pastry place inside was top notch.
Vineyard Golf
Terrific layout, but they let their tournament tees grow in, so it now maxes at 6650y and has plenty of crabgrass and grass-filled fairway bunkers.
They made great renovations to the buildings and restaurant, but kind of let the course go. Wine that used to be $28 is now $49.
It's worth it for a Hot Deal because I love the layout, but it's sliding down for sure.
Pleasantly surprised
Wide open with bunkers being the only real hazards of any consequence, although I did drown a ball on a par 3 on the back.
Greens ran true and the fairway leading up to the greens was in great shape.
Overpriced. All the people where great. The restaurant was average.
Nice layout
Pace was slow and back up all day.
Either need rangers to address slow groups or spread tee times a little.
Not enjoyable waiting to take every shot then rushing in greens chase groups behind you are hitting up and waiting for you.
Vineyard National
Pretty wide open and different yardage so you use every club in your bag. Greens rolled true and fairways were above average.
