Fun layout on a rebuilding course
Pace of play was decent but slow groups wouldn’t let other play through. The course has some beautiful holes and is pretty fun. Greens were best I’ve played anywhere in a long time (minus the one under repair). Cart girl was out often and there’s coke water bottles on the course a couple of times. They definitely take care of you.
Didn't like the fact the starter had to put 4 in a group....instead of two
Just go play it!
Go play it you won't regret it. You will have a hard time finding a course of this quality under $100. Showed up early and the started let me tee off early (solo). I played through two groups but its wasn't because the play was slow, only because I was solo. Only 4 stars because some tee boxes and fairways have bad spots from the winter, also one green was in pretty bad shape. Don't let that stop you though get out there and play it. It's a great track.
Always good
It was a week of bad weather, but played in the mud anyway, this is the best place to play in the winter because they take such good care of the coarse.
Let me book, drive two hours and they’re closed!!
How do you put your course online and let people reserve, whilst paying a modest reservation fee, and your course not be open? I got a call about 15 minutes before tee time that they made a mistake, shouldn’t have shown online and that they’re closed. No offer of a rain check or even an apology.
Building Construction again
Clubhouse under construction again!
Someday it will be open.
Just Amazing
Pace of play was amazing. Even though it was wet and raining still was a able to do 90 degree. Staff was amazing as well with every penny
Course condition
The course was in good condition, but most of the fairways are with a lot of divots not being repaired by irresponsible players.
always a good course
Cold but excellent play to play on our weekend, even after all the rain 2 days before this course held up well. They do Golf right here.
Really Fun Track
I've played both courses and prefer Redbud. Played from the blues, and it can be long especially with the wind blowing. Would DEF play it again.
Good but not to challenging!
Course in great shape but each hole very similar… could be more challenging … still enjoyable.
Good course
Tough little course, but fun. Fairways could of been smoother.
Worth the drive from the metroplex
With DFW courses being packed, and/or too expensive to be of value, we took a chance on an hour drive to OK. You're greeted AT YOUR CAR with a nice man and a cart. You load up, hit the trailer (clubhouse in repair) and head to the range, where there's no charge. A cooler with free water bottles is there at the range, and in other places on the course. Hit the course, and you find the fairways are in great shape. The course actually has rough (unlike some metroplex courses where it's just dirt), and the rough is punishing. Outside of the main rough is the kind of grass that Rory doesn't like. Stay in the fairway and you're in good shape. Greens aren't TPC Las Colinas, but they're good. We played on a Sunday, and the pace was excellent. We will continue to visit Winstar Golf for sure.
