Great course
Beautiful course, well maintained. Fast greens. Looking forward to playing again. Signage to course and back to highway could be better .
Great Day at Black Butte Big Meadow
played in a little over 3.5 hrs. Course i n very good shape. Staff courteous and helpfull.
Love the Glaze Meadow layout!
Much easier and more enjoyable for the higher handicap players. Staff is awesome! Always a pleasurable and relaxing experience. Black Butte is my favorite place to play golf, period!
Excellent
A well done redo of this course. I've played it many, many times before it was overhauled. It was getting old and outdated. The new course is more open with better views and is much more user friendly. The bunkers have been redone and some placed in new locations. Makes you aim and gives you good sight lines. Can be walked with a little more effort than a totally flat course. We got in at the $39/person rate and had lunch at Robert's Pub for $65/person total W/GOLF & DRINKS! We will be playing it again! A great upgrade.
PS: Shot 75, lady friend had 88 and we're senior golfers
A fine walk!
Early season conditions…fairly large greens were slow and bumpy, but ok. Course is very fair, and very well suited to walking. Water in play on a few holes on front nine. Nice views of the mountains on several holes. We played at our own relaxed pace, with no one in front or behind, in about 3.5 hours. Facility is modest, but nice. Staff was very friendly. I look forward to playing here again.
Great springtime in mountains value.
Springtime conditions: fairways not quite ready (and dry spring has made course itself a bit less than green); greens not perfect; pretty chilly last 4 or 5 holes. But what a deal for $23 on GolfNow. And a beautiful course with views of Sisters, Thee-Fingered Jack; Washington; Jefferson. Definitely worth the drive up from the Valley.
Early season near alpine golf at it's finest.
I had a great time playing this course. It was early season for them so it was not 100% green yet, but it seemed very well manicured.
I can't wait to come back later this summer and play again when it is all greened up. There is nothing like playing in the shadows of mountains, and this truly is a real golf gem for the entire state and maybe west coast. Heck, I might even retire here!
Great
Fun to play.........................................
one of the best in Central Oregon.T
Black Butte Glaze Meadows is one of 2 very nice courses at destination resort Black Butte Ranch. The course has recently gone through a 2-3 million dollar renovation. Fairways and greens are in great condition. Plenty of sand traps. Views from several holes include Black Butte, Mt. Washington, and 3 Sisters Mtns.
Great course
Course was in goood condition for late season. We found the greens to be challenging to putt, never did get the speed down. Nice view of Mt Washington on 15, deer on fairways in late afternoon.
Great course.
Good course, well maintained. Nicely secluded. Would certanly play again. Challenging for all levels but even the novice can find some successs. Nestled into the pines and aspens. Your time on the course feels private, not some wide open venue. The weather wasn't great but loved it nonetheless. The deal withGolfNow was wonderful. The pro shop managed it perfectly.
Great golf in spectacular setting
The recently renovated Glaze Meadow Course at Black Butte Ranch is in excellent condition. The fairways are lush, the greens are true, and the rough is fair and well cut. The holes are varied and challenging. The setting in the ponderosas of Central Oregon with lakes on early holes and mountain peaks visible on later holes is just spectacular. I would play it regularly.
Beautiful setting. Amazing course.
Loved the experience. The course was just the right level of difficulty with plenty of character. Wish the greens would have been a bit softer, seemed like good shots rolled off the back too often.
Great course, perfect setting
The renovated Glaze Meadow golf course is a wonderful golf experience. Just the right amount of challenge with perfect greens. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Would and have recommended course to others.
Beautiful but tough
This course plays so fast and quick! It plays like a links course since the fairways and greens are so firm. You can't hit links shots that run up though, so it is a tough test!
Beautiful course
Beautiful views, very well maintained and walkable if you want a little workout.
Big Meadow Black Butte
A great course in the Northwest. Beautiful views, great layout. When playing this course you need to take the time to look around and enjoy the beauty. Fun to play for men and women of all skill levels.
Overall good
Course setting is beautiful, trees and views, fairways good but the greens were hard - couldn't stop your ball no matter how much backspin on it. Putting was nice - true roll.
Excellent course! Very well maintained.
Starting with a friendly early morning greeting from Emily, the entire experience was outstanding. We played at 7AM and the first few shots were right into the sun but we were able to find those and the rest of the round was excellent. The course has a great layout with lots of traps and consistent greens. The greens were hard and firm,
This was the best course we played on this trip to the Bend area.
Beautiful views and good golf course.
The Big Meadows gold course at Black Butte is a good challenging golf course that is fun to play. The "meadows" part is a bit misleading because a lot of the holes are in beautiful pine trees. The staff was great and the golfing experience was a real pleasure. My wife rode along with me and they did not have one of those silly rider fees that a lot of courses put on you.
