Ok for the cost.
So 1st off it was a rainy day. The course has an interesting layout with a lot of par threes but it got a little confusing sometimes figuring out how to get to the next hole. Apparently there are elk who roam around this golf course and they do tear up the fairways especially when it's been raining. The bunkers were basically unplayable they were in such bad shape. But with all that said my friends and I had a good time and plan to come back when the weather is better.
Good vslue
Weather was perfect. Sun, no clouds or wind
Rare for the coast. Greens we very nice
Pleasantly surprised. Great value
Challenging course
Spacing is tight between holes with many cart paths crossing each other, so signage is a must read. I really enjoyed the back nine with several unique holes with elevation challenges. I still recommend it if the price is right.
Awesome!
Beautiful course. Awesome elevation change. Fun amount of difficulty, reasonably priced. Played on Labor Day and the course burnt down the next day. Glad I went
Fun practice course for short game, awkward lies.
Great quick course to play. Holes are very short for long hitters and not very challenging for mid to low handicappers. Course conditions are okay. Very firm, dry fairways, thick slow greens. Friendly staff and very considerate players letting better players play through. Was able to finish 18 with cart in well under three hours.
Fun course

Our first visit to this course surprised us with it's challenge. Although a short course in yardage, it is not short on toughness. From the multiple hazards and trees to avoid, the narrow fairways and the wide range of altitude changes the course throws many obstacles at the player. We found the greens in wonderful condition. The grass a bit long making the roll slower, never-the-less they still made us pay attention. Wonderfully polite and helpful staff in the pro shop and restaurant. They of course are challenged, like all of us, by the difficulties of living and working in the COVID-19 era. Bring your patience for both the staff and the course and have a great round!
Rudest and worst pro shop ever!!!! Never got to play for Paid Round
I booked a tee time on Golfnow. I paid for a tee time for April 8th. Showed up and the clubhouse was locked with a sign that they were closed through March 31st. So with paid tee time I approached the first tee to see if anyone was on course. I started my round because I saw groundskeepers. So one of them came over and told me that they were still closed. So I told them I had my receipt. Head groundskeeper Keaton said he would get me a rain check. I called back a few weeks later after they were reopened to set up a time and he said just call pro shop and tell them I said you have a rain check. I called and talked to Marci and she was rude, told me she wasn’t giving me a rain check, claimed they didn’t get paid from Golfnow and was no help. Didn’t offer to reach out to Golfnow. Called the Head groundskeeper just a guy that mows grass. My wife who was hearing the phone call on speaker was appalled and said that was the worst customer service. Called back to talk to management no answer for 3 straight calls at 1:45pm. I would never golf here!!!!!! Ever!!!
Fun Course
Don’t let the length fool you. A lot of up and down, some narrow fairways, and small greens. It was a challenging course and thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
Short track = Quick Round
You get what you pay for with Chinook Winds. Plenty of par 3s so it is not a difficult course to navigate. Too many single players and twosomes on the course so it was easy to get backed up at times.
Like a Challenge Course - but that's not necessarily a bad thing
The course has nine par 3s. That will turn some off - however, for those who do play and know what's ahead of them they will find a few interesting holes that are well worth the greens fees.
A green surrounded by sand, some dramatic elevation changes, a few challenging hazard holes, and one mighty dogleg that combines narrow approach shots, water hazards and a good drop off the tee box that allows a good drive to soar.
It's an intriguing course, if not a classic course. If you want to see some different holes, and don't mind the reduced distance, you'll be happy.
Perfect pace of play
You could comment on the course needing more investment in its grounds, or on the substantial number of Par 3s, but this is an amazing public course that plays swiftly for the money.
Wasn't going to include cart
I had to prove a cart was included. Unfortunately Golf nows confirmation doesn't show a cart is included but on the purchase area is does. Fortunately 2 tee times were still available and I was able to prove it. I will screen shot from now on. Second time I had to prove payment which is fine but one would think that there system would show that.
Summer golf
The course was fairly dry on the fairways, but mowed well. Greens were fast, so don’t be long.
