great course. Staff not attentive.
Course was great. Disappointed in outside staff. No help from bag drop guy. He let us walk all the way down the hill to the pro shop, where we then had to walk upstairs, check in, then go back downstairs, get a cart, and ride around the corner to load our bags. No one around the cart area to help. No key, so had to walk into the cart barn, flag a guy down and ask for one. As a result, no one to ask which way to the first tee. Ended up following some 1 and 10 arrows with no course ID, but they turned out to be the Fazio nines. Some friendly members pointed us towards Nicklaus, right at our tee time. The starter was friendly and helpful and we were good to go from there. No issues with the course, Great condition, great layout. Ghost trees were cool looking.
Beautiful views and challenging holes
Loved this course and the layout. I played the Fazio course a few days prior and this track seemed to be a bit shorter and more narrow. Would definitely play again when I’m in the area!
Awesome conditions
This course always amazes me. It was in perfect condition. You owe it to yourself to go play here. It will be memorable
Great Course
It’s a Nicklaus course so precision is valued over distance. Beautiful setting. It’s isolated, but that is a plus. Extremely friendly staff. Excellently maintained course. You need to play this.course.
The very best!
Everything about this course and facilities is top of the line. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!
Pronghorn perfect day
Day started out perfectly with great weather (sunny and in the 80’s with little wind). Course stag. Was extremely friendly and informative about the course and facilities. I arrived 2 hours prior to my tee time to find out I had not been paired with any other players (I played as a single). Normally this is concerning with pace of play. The starter fit me into a tee time about an hour early to help me with pace of play. It sure did, and I had a fun day enjoying the surroundings of the course and great playing conditions of the course.
I would 100% recommend this course to my family and friends.
Pronghorn Haughian brothers
Course is great. Sand traps were not fluffy at all. It was like playing out of compacted dirt. Not what I expected for such a nice course.
Fairways a mess
They aerate the course way too late in the fall (mid to late October) and the course never recovers before winter. Consequently, the conditions are poor throughout early spring. When aeration is scheduled in the spring, they are aerating a course which is not healthy. It is May and the fairways are still in poor shape.
Palmer course
A wonderful course. Imaginative holes with character. Multiple tee boxes for all abilities. Conditions, fairway, rough, penalty, tee boxes and greens, were the best we have ever played. Definitely a TO DO course. Hope to get on Fazio someday
Green was extremely slow due to sanding. Other than that it was an awesome course.
