getting better
I communicated some of my concerns about the clerk with the Pro. She was very rude concerning the use of Golfnow. There has been improvement.
Black Hills Beauty
The course is in great condition! You pay for gold and get a wilderness vacation with it!
Views in the Hills
It's a nine hole in the Hills, fun to play, in good shape, and I love playing here.
Tomahawk doesn't like Golfnow
I grew up and worked at Tomahawk in the 70's. After forty five years I loved returning, except for one thing. Clubhouse management. I write this after purchasing a 10 round punch card, so this review is not done in haste. The manager Bryan seems to be burnt-out. His employee said more than once that they didn't make anything from online bookings as though I was taking money out of her pocket. A change there is needed and would make the experience near perfect.
Golf in Deadwood
My wife and I had a great time at Tomahawk Country Club just outside of Deadwood. The scenery was awesome, the course was in great conditions and the greens were excellent. The pro shop was very helpful in making sure we knew about the course, because it was our first time at Tomahawk. We will be back again.
Beautiful 9 hole course in the Black Hills
Don’t let the 9 holes fool ya! It’s a tough little course. Staff is fantastic, just one of those golf courses you need to play and get a souvenir from!
Growing and Greening
Just opening and working on everything. Mowed but high. Most greens, fairways, and tee boxes in reasonable shape with a few areas coming along late. The few traps had sand in them and were groomed.
I enjoy playing here in the Hills and look forward to everything growing in.
The Elk are Bugling!
In great shape. Greens aereated and sanded, but has to be done. Sand in the bunkers. Anything mowed has been cut on the longer side. Challenging layout.
The bulls are sounding off and the sound carries across the holes. Also we played it was ok for relief from the piles of poop bombs all over the fairways :)
Course in Good Conditions
Growing in well. Greens a little slow but in good shape. Fairways could use a mow. No burnt or dead spots anywhere. Tee boxes in good condition, some under repair.
I love playing here, it's beautiful and challenging, very long from standard whites and blues yardages, and wildlife abound in the Hills area.

Looking for a challenging and a beautiful course.. 9 holes with elk and wildlife all around you..
Nice 9 hole course
My favorite 9 hole course in the black hills. Well maintained and a great staff.

Very challenging and scenic showing the BlackHills at it's best. Greens and fairways are in good shape and the staff are very friendly and courteous. A must if you are a visitor to the Black Hills.
