Solid Course
Well taken care of, great layout for a shorter course. Will play here again
shot makers course
You needed to know where to hit your shots
mountain course with much slope.
The greens were good but a bit slow.
Many deer and woodchucks on the course, but they didn't bother anything.
It was enjoyable to play but you had to know where to
hit it.
Golf Etiquette
People in from of us were horrible. Golf isn't an easy sport especially playing on a mountain. Ten to eight shots from one woman and these guys wouldn't say go through,so I had to skip holes to find no one in front of them
Visiting area
Overall good day, played at par 65. Greens not fully recovered from aeration. Good grass in fairways to hit off of. If in the area I recommend but not at their regular rate, would wait for afternoon rate or use tee off.com.
Alex, starter friendly & helpful w/ advice on course.
One of our favorite courses!
The course was in great condition. The staff could not have been friendlier. Rebecca found my range finder I dropped and returned it to me. We will keep coming back to this course.
Great course and location
We really enjoy playing this course and take advantage of the GN hot deals whenever we see them for this course
Enjoyable Vacation Round(s)
Enjoyed my two loops around this course. Due to mid-week, mid-day play the course was pretty empty and I (as a single) was able to play the first 18 quickly and took advantage of the replay rate for a second 18.
Very picturesque. The course is par 3 heavy (par 65), however there were a variety of distances and the layouts made it a fun challenge.
The course staff (Pro shop, starter/cart attendant, on course refreshment cart server) were all very professional and friendly.
Bring your A game
This is mountain golf in its purest form, there are so many picturesque tee boxes and greens but that also comes in hand with a lot of gnats so bring your big spray. From the tips This course can eat a right hander(with a slight slice) alive. The greens are quick but when they tell you that everything runs away from the mountain you quickly learn that your eyes will deceive you and to always play the ball with half a yard of room on the mountain side of the green. Overall I would definitely reccomend the course to any skilled golfer, but don’t be mad when you lose a few sleeves.
Perfect course.
We played this course and the layout is great. The course conditions were perfect and we enjoying it as beginners.
Course is in great condition. Fairways are beautiful and greens roll true. Challenging course and the views are amazing.
Best course
First time on the mountain and was very impressed. Will definitely play again. Beautiful views and best fairways around.
Challenging and Rewarding
For a 65 par course we were impressed. The layout was intricate and delightful. The fairways and rough were trimmed to proper spec, overall beautifully groomed. The greens forced you to be strategic, appreciating the care given to allow a fair read. A wonderful experience and I highly recommend giving this course a play.
Disappointed
The course is different, hill side and not in great condition.
Another picturesque course but fairway conditions were very disappointing
2 days prior I played the Woodside Meadows course and was very disappointed with the fairway conditions. I had high hopes that it would be better at this regular, par 72 course. I was again disappointed. The fairway conditions were as tall as you would expect in a rough. I was forced to club up like I normally do when hitting from the rough. At $75 a round ths was again a big disappointment. See the attached photos for some idea of the length of the fairway cut.
The course itself is very nice and picturesque. The fairways are indeed very tight in some places as other reviews have mentioned. The first hole is unusually tight at about 200 yards. It is only 20 to 25 yards wide. Thread a needle on this one.
Greens were a bit slow and with multiple tiers putting was at a premium. I normally use 32 putts a round on average and had 37 on this course. Could be user error or just not able to really adjust to the speed. But not all fairways were that tight and some were actually quite generous. Driving wasn't really the problem. It was the second shot to the green from the rough in the center of the fairway that caused the most problems.
One nice memory from the course was seeing deer all around. I guess they were used to having people in golfers around as they would just look at you and not run away immediately.
Disappointing course conditions for a $75 fee
A very picturesque course. Plays to par 65 with a mix of holes and lots of par 3s. Unfortunately, the fairways are cut too high, almost rough length. Even when freshly cut it is too high. The fringe around the green might be acceptable for a fairway. Very disappointing conditions for $75. Check out photos.
Just OK Experience
Pace of play was horrific. Conditions were not what I would expect for what I was charged. Course layout was OK for subdivision golf. Course does have good Mountain View’s.
