Tough short course

This course boasts quite a few risk/reward holes and more dog-legs than a dog has legs.
If you hit over 200yds with your driver, you will not use it more than thrice all round.
The first hole is a downhill left dog-leg with a huge right-to-left sloping approach to a green half-surrounded by water. The par-5 2nd is another left leg with a ridiculously elevated, ridiculously large green (120ft+ diameter). The 3rd is a dog-leg right with another partial island green. After three more par-4's (two are left dog-legs), you finally get to two short par 3 holes, but you need precision because the tiny greens will likely not hold your ball. Finally the last hole is a straight & wide, gettable par 5, but the greenside bunkers can ruin the best round.
The course is very walkable and cheap if you choose to do so. Otherwise motor cart rental is pricey especially if you're riding alone. Bring plenty of extra balls as the woods along the sometimes narrow fairways and greenside ponds will quickly dwindle your supply.
My biggest complaint about the course is the greens are often as slow as putting on shag carpet. Otherwise it is well maintained and you'll likely see some deer crossing a fairway or green.
Keep in mind the clubhouse doesn't accept credit cards but they do have an ATM.
