Great course!
The course was in great shape and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would recomment this course!!
I was pleasantly suprised as I have played this course before and didn't really care for it, but I totally enjoyed it this time. We started on the North Nine and it was in very good condition and was quite challenging. The fairways were in excellant condition. However, I would suggest that you have mesquito spray as they were pretty thick in the area with lots of trees. We saw a deer and a wild turkey.
front nine greens in poor condition
Course conditions were excellent except for the front nine greens which had been recently airaited which resulted in poor putting conditions.
Great greens
Course was very well maintained. Greens were cut to ne not too fast but not slow.
One problem was the mosquitos. They were bad!!
A must play. Definitely a diamond in the wilderness.
This is a fantastic layout. The course is definitely championship caliber. Every course should have such an attentive and friendly staff.
Excellent course
Despite our wet spring and cold weather, the course is in very good condition, the greens were moderately fast and smooth, the pace of play was excellent and the check in was friendly and efficient. It was a very enjoyable day and we will go back.
Gorgeous woodland course
Service was fast, the course well-maintained, and extraordinarily beautiful. It was my first time to play the North nine and I was very impressed by its layout, length and how the fairways fit into the rolling hill topography. Being an early fail day also helped since the leaf color was impressive. Both my playing partner and I were enormously impressed and delighted by the speed of play, service, course condition, and very low price.
GolfNow pricing provides an excellent value for this level of course.
The course staff is exceptional. The course itself is challenging and as a result, can cause slow play by higher handicapped golfers. That happened to my twosome on the Saturday that we played.
Serene, quiet setting.
Course was in great shape, play the back tee's to make it more challenging. Despite a very dry summer very few dead spots. Staff at check in could have been friendlier and more helpful. Not the best spacing on putting groups out, but moved right along once completed the first three holes.
great layout, well taken care of
Accommodating staff, not overly friendly. I loved the layout of the holes, and the elevation changes. Saw some wild life (deer) and turkeys, which was interesting.
Beautiful Course
This is a moderately challenging course designed by Robert Trent Jones. The setting among the hills is beautiful, and they use the hills and water and trees to make it fairly tough. It's in very good shape, and for the price I paid through golfnow, it was quite a good value.
