From Denver to Colorado Springs and into the Rocky Mountains, there is a lot of exciting golf to explore in Colorado.

As the only golf course within the Boulder city limits, Flatirons is an overachieving muni with a country club-style layout but a welcoming atmosphere for casual and serious golfers. Walking or riding 18 holes here -- or just taking advantage of the practice facilities -- is a great way to enjoy a day outdoors in Boulder if you're not up for a higher rpm activity like cycling or hiking.
Driving the Rockies in search of Colorado's Western Slope golf gems is a scenic adventure. Cedaredge Golf Club is just down the Grand Mesa slope in Cedaredge, and award-winning Devil's Thumb Golf Club is minutes away in Delta. In Montrose, look for the Bridges Golf and County Club, the Links at Cobble Creek and well-traversed municipal Black Canyon Golf Club, among many others. And what many travel golfers don't know is you can play these courses nine months or more out of the year.
