Instead of making golf more fun you are making it more burdensome. One percent or less of golfers will this make a bit of difference. But you are adding burdens on golfers that play golf for the fun of the game. The precision you are targetting has zero value. In fact its absurd. My prediction is you will LOSE golfers interest
