Located at the center of Armstrong County, Lenape Heights Golf Resort is only minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This public golf course has an accessible 18-hole layout for players of all skill levels. There are a few challenges to contend with including strategically placed sand traps and lakes, but the course is gentle enough for players of all skill levels. The golf course is one of the best values in the area, not only offering a solid round but immaculately manicured fairways and some of the best greens in the area. The front nine has wide-open fairways and the back nine gets a bit tighter. There are some good driving holes and you'll get some short game practice as well. Lenape Heights finishes with a tough uphill hole with a blind approach to the severely sloped green.

A hidden treasure
This is a very nice course that will let you use many clubs, water, sand and some long holes. We will return to play this course, can't wait till it gets in to full summer mode.

Nice course
I really enjoyed the course. It's a nice layout. A FEW words of "caution"- the rough is pretty thick, keep a close eye on your ball, there is internal OB, which I don't like. Other than that, a fun, challenging layout. The overall upgrade is impressive. This course was a goat track when I played there 20 years ago.

Good value, beautiful location, greens were very slow, took a while to get used to the speed but they were true if you hit the right speed. Every lie was on a hill. I would play the course again.
Some challenging holes and great views. This course was different than others courses in a good way.

Worth the Trip
The course was not very busy. We came up on a slow threesome that caused our round to take longer than it should have. Excellent sand in bunkers
Great restaurant and bar for the 19th hole
The course has a nice design. The condition of the course was nice.
I recommend this course to others to play. The greens were in great condition and the speed was golfer friendly. Sand traps are in nice condition which makes it easier to come out if in them. Position goflt course which I like. Looking forward to playing it again in the near future.

Nice course. Greens in good condition and roll true. A few holes have blind tee shots and/or approaches. Made it interesting for a first timer.

Nice Course with some blind holes
Course was in really good shape. Greens were slow but mostly due to moisture. Sand traps were nicer than most public courses. Playing it for the first time was hard because of the blind holes. But overall really nice and I would go back
Greatly conditioned course.
Paid $16.00 per person. Course is in great shape. Staff was very friendly. It hasn't been busy the two times I' ve been there, and I don;t know why. It must be a hidden gem of a course.
a short story
a shorter course that is a bit hilly. lots of blind shots, and a few shots that gps nor a rangefinder would give you accurate yardage.
greens were a little slow. offers a good challenge with dog legs ,water and sand guarded greens and lots of elevation changes.

The best course around
Lenape is one of the best golf courses in western Pa.
The gentleman in the pro shop is very nice and helpful.
The whole building, pro shop, restaurant, everything is spotless.
Some decent holes. Some holes are a waste.
Almost was mauled by bees on cart path between 17th and 18th holes. Literally was the largest bee's nest I have ever seen. Golfers beware.
