The Club at ArrowCreek - Legend Course
About
The Legend at The Club at ArrowCreek brings Arnie's Army to Reno's golf and gambling mecca. Or at least, Arnold Palmer's golf course design touch. Palmer is the architect of Legend, one of two 18-hole showcase courses at The Club at ArrowCreek. Legend throws forced carries, striking native desert grasses and plush speedy greens at golfers without trying to beat them up quite as much as its sister course, The Challenge.
Palmer - the people's champion - seems to undertand how to put together a course for the people too. ArrowCreek Legend weaves around ravines, dry creeks and rocks. It can really give the golfer a sense of being away from it all - even though it's a quick drive to Reno's downtown casinos.
ArrowCreek Legend's finishing stretch tends to leave golfers talking. No. 17 is a short 294-yard par 4 that just screams at players to try and carry the big bunker in front of the green. Usually in score-deflating futility. Then, No, 18 throws a 442-yard par 4 that includes a big ravine carry at golfers.
Don't relax once you're on the green eihter. ArrowCreek Legend's 18 is the fastest green on the entire course. And ArrowCreek takes pride in its fast greens.

this course is a cool layout
love the the layout very diffacult greens are in decent shape rest of course could use some TLC
Course played very well for last day of October
Great experience as always with one exception - stuck behind 16 man tourney with no marshal.
This is a MUST play course!
This course had it all! Staff was great, course was pristine! Everything I would expect from an Arnold Palmer design. Challenging but playable. I would recomend this course to all my friends.
You need to be on the fairway or bring plenty of balls
This was a challenging but pleasant experiece for my wife and me. The staff were very friendly and the practice facilities excellent. Some parts of the course were under repair so some of the fairways had bare patches - but we are going into winter after all.
Overall I enjoyed my first time here and will play the course again.
Great course - need guidance.
Played course after heavy rain - still in very good condition.
Because of elevation changes, recommend you play with a member - as I did. Big greens, means get there early & practise putting. Fine club all round.
Great course
Great course that has a few fairways that they have not yet been able to fix this year after a tough winter. Super friendly staff, beautiful views from tee boxes, inspiring course. Always try to golf it when I am in Reno.
Challenging Yet Rewarding
Fun course, rewarding if you manage the course, try to take too much off and it will sink its teeth in and not give those strokes back...Greens are usually in good shape and run at 9. Morning play is better as afternoon winds will bring out the beast in the course.
Good course, a must play from the Tips
Late October play, course was in very good for condition. Great par 5's, good par 4's and 3 easy par 3's and 1 KILLER 237 yd par 3, all with very, very fast greens!
