Lakes at Indian Creek Golf Course

The course was in excellent condition and was a beauty. Very good value for the money.

It was a prefect experience playing at Indian Creek. The weather was fantastic mid 70's low 80's, the course looks awesome and it was a very good steady pace, 3.5 hrs 18 holes. I got a hot deal at Golf Now that was impossible to beat.

Lakes is challenging course for high handicapper, lots of water, I played driver seldom from blue tees, sometimes 5 wood, play was in June with water restrictions in place and greens were excellent rolling. Fairways are not so level on many holes, so may have various ball positions to hit in middle of fairway. If your handicap is above 90, bring plenty of golf balls. Beverage cart was frequent, staff was attentive from pro shop to snack bar to starter. Staff indicates this is the cheaper, less maintained course, looking forward to Creeks Course. Course is good value, concessions are expensive, bag of chips is $2, beer is $4.

The creeks course is phenomenal. I have played every good course in dallas and this course was right up there. The fairways are unbelieveavle and are just so fluffy and over seeded with rye. The ball is just always sitting on a good lie when anywhere on the fairway. The greens were great and rolled true. This course was in immaculate shape overall and a very fun course to play. It's pretty dang challening though especially if you wonder out of the fairway. Overall awesome course!

Lots of water to negotiate around, this makes the "Lakes" course a challenge.The course is being maintained. Played earlier afernoon, pace of play was very good.

Played the lakes course for the first time in a long time. The course is in near perfect condition. The grass on the greens and fairways is in resort condition. The staff is friendly, and on this day it was not very busy. I'll go back soon.

I recently played the Creeks course, but had not played the Lakes for several years. Overall it is very nice. You have to hit it straight to stay out of the trees and out of the water. The greens were in very good condition though the fairways and rough were extremely firm. Only complaint would be that there were a foursome and fivesome in front of us that were very slow. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed the round in spite of waiting on every tee box.

First I would like to start off by saying the staff was great. They were kind and friendly. The course was another story. The greens were far from good with dirt spots in some of them and a deep hole in another. When you took a shot off the fairway with a low iron or wedge. You got this nice clump of mud on your club that took forever to clean off. The tee boxes needed work as well. They were uneven and kind of hairy.

Bottom line is that I won't be back.

You will find this course challenging and is a good course for the value

Fun public course with the expected challenges of worn areas in dirt in rough and signs of lots of use. One thing they need to fix is major cart path pot holes, cracks and unlevel areas. Or get carts with better shock absorbers.

Course was in ok shape. Greens were firm and didn't always hold approach shots. No drop and stop style shots here. Decent speed over all though.

Fairways were hard. Lots of added roll after ball lands but this also means you will hit drives through doglegs and they will roll into brush, trees, or water were you can't find your ball. Watch your ball even after you see it land!

Bunkers need sand. Very hard sand under half inch of soft.

Fun track but needs water.

Brought a 9 hole round on GolfNow for a great price. I took my 9 year old with me to enjoy the cart ride and the great weather. We played around 6pm on Saturday and the conditions were great. Greens are very good condition. Only complaint is wish we could get the 9 hole price just a bit earlier at this course. lol

I was in Dallas visiting my brother. Perfect weather to go see The Byron Nelson tourney or play golf. Decided to tee it up instead. Course is in great shape and challenging. Lots of water and woods. I found all of them. Anyway, met up with another 2 some after second hole because the 4 some ahead of them was taking their merry time. Needless to say took over 5 hours to play and we finally skipped a hole to get ahead of them.

Never saw a Marshall on the course. I was getting poed and my game showed it. I would play this course again, but management needs to get a Marshall on the course.

Very fair course has a lot of different shots good shot cuts or safe shots

I prefer the Creek course but the Lakes is a bargain for this area. The course is somewhat challenging in that you must play smart golf, especially when it's windy. We played early Sunday and finished 18 under 3.5 hrs.

Quick and smooth greens. The fairways are still few weeks from being plush but are good.

First time at this course, I just moved to TX and I enjoyed it. Challenging Tee shots, only used the driver 4 times. Course was in decent shape, a couple of rough areas and the greens had some disease but it was well managed and didn't impact play much. Fairways were in good shape.
Its forgiving if you miss as the trees are not dense and you can find your ball.
Staff was friendly. I saw a couple rangers trying to keep things moving and there were 2 cart girls out there so you didn't have to wait long if you needed something

the pace of play on the day I played was ridiculous. I sat on the 9th hole green waiting and waiting looking at hole number 18. . . No one. Hole 17. . . On the tee box. More waiting on my hole . . . Glance at 17 again. Still on the tee box. Everyone in front of me, including myself are stuck behind those guys. Did they move at all? Aaaaauuuugh!

Overall a great track. The greens are sloped way too much. Very challenging. Fairways in great shape. Expect to three put on almost every hole. The biggest downside the day I played was the pace of play. Took almost two hours to play six holes. Over three hours for 9. That's unacceptable. Would have not played if I knew that.
