Great winter golf
Course was in great shape for the dead of winter. Great bang for the buck on hot deal!
Fairways over seeded
Fairways were over seeded on 9/26 (I was not aware when I made the tee time). Difficult to locate ball on the fairway due to height of grass and no rollout. Greens not in great condition.
Good layout, rough shape
Played this course last time a few years ago. It has a good layout with a variety of holes and hazards (water, sharp doglegs, large trees strategically placed, etc). Pay attention to the yardage and play one set of tees back (ex. if you normally play the whites, play the blues here). This time it was in rough shape. The tees had a lot of weeds, the greens looked like they were not recovering from ball marks, and several holes had hard-as-rock dirt patches in the rough (mostly next to cart paths). I got a good deal through GolfNow, but I would not pay $50+ to play here the way it is now.
Good course
Great course good location well maintained just don’t know on some holes what’s fair way what’s rough what’s fringe
Just average
A course that could be great but is also in average shape. Too expensive for what it is but people pay it, so it is what it is.
Meh
Bad course conditions but fun course should be a lower price point with the state of course now. Went out at 12:30 and alone moved through 18 without a delay for anyone ahead. So good there… weekday
Good place to play
This is a short course. The greens were in great shape. The fairways were fine. The rough was rough but that is consistent with the time of year. The only complaint was we fiollowed a threesome that held us up on virtually every hole. They never considered to let us play through. We even met them on the tee box a couple times. Will play there again.
Nice Value for the rate
Greens and trees were nice. Fairways good. Bunkers were fine. Pace of play stupid slow. Threesome holding us up on every hole. Sometimes we would catch them on the tee and never considered that we should play through. But, that can happen anywhere. Nice Impala Convertible SS 427 inside clubhouse. First time ever to see a car inside a golf course clubhouse.
Pace of play
Lots of singles playing by themselves. That actually contributed to a slower pace of play than if we were paired together.
Course was in better shape than I remembered and overall I had fun
