Las Vegas National Golf Course
About
A traditional golf course in the land of faux waterfalls, shooting fountains and mountains, Las Vegas National Golf Club is actually part site of Tiger Woods' first win on the PGA Tour.
Las Vegas National was part of the rotation of the Las Vegas Invitational when Woods broke onto the Tour in 1996. Tiger actually won the Las Vegas Invitational (then a 90-hole, multi-course event) with a final round 64 on the private TPC at Summerlin track, erasing David Love III's four-stroke lead.
Average hackers will find a course with plenty of trees in the desert and five inventive par 3s that give National much of its character. This isn't desert golf. It's old school golf with palm trees and sand.
It is also very close to the Strip, just a few turns and about a 10-minute drive away. The area's built up around it with fast-food shops, but the Rat Pack era style remains alive within Las Vegas National's grounds.
"As you pull into the lot at Las Vegas National, the sense of the sixties is evident in the rectangular pastel colored stucco clubhouse that might have seemed modernistic back then, but now is a charming reminder of an architecturally dated style," TravelGolf.com writer Doug Saunders said.

Amazing Course
I love this course. Former PGA host and I believe.. but everything is great. I would highly recommend to come real early to eat here. They have the best omelets here.. thank you LVNGC
Need to get greens in order
I love this golf course but I don’t understand why the can’t get the greens better. Very bumpy and slow. Tough to roll a good putt. Everything else is great. Played there two months ago and it was the same situation. It’s sad to have such a classic course have greens that are so bad.
Amazing staff and great pace of play
Every staff member went above and beyond to make us enjoy the round. Free range balls to warm up. Illa at the bar was very friendly. Great pro shop and most importantly a very fun round with good pace of play. Highly recommend.
Fairways ok greens were bumpy and patchy not very good at all
Cool Place
Really neat place and the history is awesome. Not in the best shape but a good layout. Overall good though.
Fairyways and greens were average. Looked like the grass was not fully grown in
Golfing with friends
Last time I played here, was over 20 years ago. Eventhough I don’t remember the layout, it was in great shape back then. Great shape today. It was nice the restaurant opens early, 5:30 am. Good food there. I would totally recommend eating there, before or after a round of golf. I do like the fact, they gave out free driving range golf balls to hit, before you tee off. Good price for the round, $40 through golf now app for locals. Definitely would go back here to play again.
Vegas Gem
Course is always in great shape. A hard but for test for your game.
Great course, friendly staff and beautiful weather couldn't ask for any thing more
Great course layout.
Course well maintained with excellent pace of play. Very enjoyable.
Great Value
Love this course. Old Vegas now. Good conditions. Love the surrounding houses and scenery.
The golf course was in great condition staff was very friendly, unfortunately we run behind an eight group that were just wasted, we couldn’t move forward And took us twice as long to play the course. we’re trying to call the staff but they show up until the 17 hole to try to move these guys faster
Cool course
Over all course was in pretty good shape, greens were a little slow but not terrible. Will definitely go back.
