What a gem

This was my first time playing the course and I what a lovely golf course it is. Very friendly staff and the food was generous and delicious. The holes are very well set out and you have to watch out for either the large bunkers or several burns that surround many of the greens. We played on a wet day so the bunkers did retain some of the water but I managed to stay out of most of them. You will not regret playing this course especially at this price.

Nice friendly course

Friendly and relaxed welcome from the chap in the shop.

I played in June 2017 and it had been absolutely pouring for the last couple of days, the condition of the course didn't really show this, only a couple of bunkers still holding a bit of water gave it away. The greens were fast and true and the fairways firm.

Quite a tight course and a fair test for all abilities. I struggled at the start finding trees and then a couple where the fast greens caught me out!

Can't comment on the clubhouse, I buzzed the intercom but no answer, I didn't persist though, I'm sure if I'd waited a couple of minutes someone would have let me in.

Would definitely play again.

SUPERB COURSE IN MINT CONDITION

A very enjoyable course. Some Very challenging holes with long par 4's but great course layout and my new favourite in the area. It's not a long course and not overly hilly. Very reasonable prices for visitors considering the quality of this course. The greens and fairways are immaculate.

Great condition for december

Played today in perfect conditions. Course in great condition for this time of year. Winter tees but all greens in use, great for this time of year when your crying out to play a full 18 holes. Great layout with a good mix of long and short par 3's and 4's. Very quiet so scooted round in just over 3 hrs. Highly recommended for the price and will definitely play this course again.

Good weather
Walked

First time visitor to Tulliallan.

Nice course, not too challenging but has enough hazards to make life awkward. The biggest hazard and most frustrating thing was the volume of leaves on the fairways. To loose 4 balls on the course due to leaves was infuriating, hence the 3 star review for conditions.

Lovely little course well worth a visit

Nice club, friendly staff and good amenities.
Course was in excellent condition with the best feature being the greens which were excellent order for the time of year, even paced and very true.
A relatively short course with some very tricky holes to negotiate. A burn meanders and is in play on several holes, a couple of other water hazards, trees, out of bounds on several of the holes and strategically placed bunkers makes it a course to plot your way around rather than blast your way around.
Pick of the holes were the par 4's 3rd and 16th which are on adjacent fairways up and down a steep slope respectively. The 15th which was a challenging par 3 and the short par 4 11th . Picked 4 but from a long shortlist.
Will definitely be back.
