Escena Golf Club

First time playing here. Enjoyed it, coming back tomorrow

I just love playing this golf course. If you're looking for a great layout, great course conditions, and great staff, you can't go wrong at this golf course. I'm sure you'll love it.

$39 in June compare with $100 in prime season. Great condirion, a few burnt out areas. Greens very good but slow. A minor quibble - why do they make the practice green completely different from what is on the course? At this time of the year the course closes at 2pm. Pity because a late twilight 9 holes would be good. Restaurant is open and you get 25% off food by showing green fee receipt.

Scored a good deal and 3 of us decided to play. 9:26 tee time, Friday.... 80 degrees and a windy day. 15-25 mph. Started with Starter telling us they’re 18 mins behind. (Apparently a small tournament group in front of us). Spent 5 hours watching guys dribble the ball down the fairway in front of us. 4-5 groups stacked up on every par 3..... the course is fun to play, even when the wind blows....

Again the course was in good condition. The greens seemed a little slow or maybe just my terrible putting. I was able to stay clear of the strategically placed bunkers, but my playing partner didn't. He spent more time in the sand than David Hasslehoff. Staff was friendly as the last time I was there.

Course was in excellent condition, played as a single, spur of the moment, course nearly empty, finished in under 3 hrs, course is beautiful, would thoroughly recommend it, but being a Jack course, it is long and challenging,

Like the layout and the course is in pretty decent shape. There seemed to differences in the speed of the greens. Some rolled faster than others and it was hard to tell until you came up short or blew one by. The more I play this course the better I can manage each hole for better scores

Lots of fun and pro shop staff and cart girl were great. Course was close to our hotel and really enjoyed the day. Would definitely play there again!

For what it cost, the course was awesome. My only major complaint was the greens were extremely slow. It rolled true, but it was so painfully slow. Other than that, not a single complaint.

We play Escena every year on our golf vacation to Palm Springs. Course is in great condition and we paired with a wonderful couple.

Always a pleasure to play at Escena! Definitely one of my favorite golf courses. We had some of the strongest winds I’ve ever had the opportunity to play it. It totally changes the entire course.

Great track. Some long par 3’s and a few reachable par 4’s and 5’s. Great shape. Played at 7:44 AM and was off the course at 11:20. That means a lot when the heat kicks in. I recommend it.

The.course is in perfect shape as usual. The weather was great on a day that they were predicting rain it was dry and warm. We got through 18 holes in exactly 4 hours on a Saturday. This course is one of the great desert values and is what makes Southern California a mecca for golf. Come on out and play this one. You'll never regret it.

Wonderful layout, large quality greens, challenging pin placements, lots of sand, wide open fairways for the most part. would definitely play again. Course was a bit noisy being near the airport and one of the adjacent roads.

Course has lots of trouble so for the hackers that love this course it sucked for the rest. 4 players seemed to dominate play taking forever. 5 hours for 18 holes is totally unreasonable. If you like to wait this is your course !!
