Not Worth the $$$$
At $120/ea, the greens and conditions are not worth it. We could not be above any pin & the pinspotter must have been a bad mood that day (Friday) because the pins were diabolical. It took us 5-1/2 hrs to play, waited on EVERY tee box & this golf course has been ruined by the number of houses off the fairway. Just didn't meet expectations after 20+ yrs. Plus, they didn't have enough carts....at least we did get lunch comped.
Fairways need work
Fairways need work, as the greens. Staff super friendly & very helpful
The clientele brought down the atmosphere
It was fun to play the iconic holes. The write-ups about what made the hole iconic on each tee box is a nice touch. My only complaint was the the pace of play and some of the other golfers. Since it is an iconic course you get a lot of clowns playing it. We saw several groups that got overly drunk. One particularly trashy group tried to start multiple fights with other golfers throughout the day. It’s a shame that the clientele bring down the atmosphere. It would have helped if the course had a marshal driving around keeping up pace of play and kicking the drunk trash off the course.
Great Course
Very nice course, holes are a nice representation of the originals. Friendly staff and great food.
Course conditions
We play this course every year right before the Masters .
This was the best shape I've seen this course in 6 years ..
It's in awesome shape .. Greens are great !!!
Thank you
Overpriced
Evidently this course does not have near enough golf carts. Upon checking in, we were told where the driving range was, but we’d have to carry our clubs down there due to lack of carts. We were told we could have a cart 10 minutes prior to our tee time. Then our golf cart died on us on hole 13 and we had to have someone bring us a cart.
Course layout….great
Bunkers….great
Fairways…great
Greens…..good and fast, but very hard…not receptive to any kind of shot
Pace of play….horrible….5.5 hour round…waited on every shot
This course is way overpriced based on our experience.
Great Revisit of old friend
Hadn’t played the course in over 10 years. The condition of the course for April 1 was fantastic. The greens were rolling great. They are very hard but an aeration will take care of that. Very much recommend a revisit if you haven’t played there in a while. If you haven’t been there, go visit.
Amazing Layout!
We were visiting from Boston and found this course and it did not disappoint ! Being able to play replica holes that the pros play was awesome and all holes are really to specs! Round was long as it took 5:15 to play. but besides pace of play it was the most enjoyable round of golf i have ever played! Wish this course was closer to home! Only disappointment was that the cart did not have GPS for holes would have made the experience better and helpful playing the course for the first time. Overall Great experience, highly recommend
Tour 18 is Back!
After a handful of years of disappointing maintenance, 6 buddies and I golfed at Tour 18 on 4/1/23 and were not disappointed. Layout has always been fun but they finally got the greens rolling true and fairways back above average. Tee boxes need to be leveled a little but overall very good. We will be back!
Fun to Play but Not Well Kept
I would play again but, for the price and what it is supposed to be, was pretty disappointing. Just didn’t seem to be well kept and the greens were pretty slow.
Not worth the money
Course was in pretty good condition, but not $150 per player’s worth. No GPS , it was a $50-60 course
Fun Course, replicas are well done
This course is fun to play and the complimentary sandwich options at the turn were delicious. Course conditions are improving and greens were rolling very nice. If they can get the fairways filled in and growing consistently this will be an absolute gem.
Getting better by the day!
I avoided Tout 18 for a solid 4 years based on a poor past experience and the volume of negative reviews of the course. A buddy convinced me that "it's back" and suggested I try again. Although the golf course isn't let 100% (after all, it's still winter), I can definitely see the progress that's been made and am optimistic the team there can get in back into top shape this spring!
Greens - Overall, consistent and in good shape.
Bunkers - 75/25, several have been repaired and are excellent... but a few major ones are still under repair and are ACTIVELY being worked on. So... give it some time... or just stay out of those traps. LOL
Fairways - Generally good but a few holes that definitely need some TLC, precipitation, and warmer temperatures to come back in.
Pace of Play - Not the best. The course would benefit greatly from adding technology to help manage the pace of play on holes where there are blind tee shots. Had a consistent mix of groups waiting excessively for fairways to clear and/or hitting into us because we couldn't be seen and the carts do not have GPS technology.
Scenery - Lacking... it is still winter, but would hope that everything makes a full rebound in the next 45 - 60 days.
The Starter - This dude is 5 stars all day. Great way to kick up the nostalgia and start play on a positive note.
It does look like the course has slightly reduced the rates to take into account the current course conditions so get out and sneak in a round before the rates go back up.
Not worth $100
It is a shame they do not maintain this course. It was immaculate when it opened 20 years ago. The bunkers have been under repair for years. There is little to no grass on tee boxes. At least overseed them during the winter. Large areas around greens that are grassless. The staff is friendly and the concept is cool but those two things alone don’t justify the $100 green fee. It’s worth $50-60. Don’t pay more than that unless $ is of no concern or you don’t mind being disappointed.
Tour 18
Fun experience, Bermuda greens in great shape for their dormant status. Some greens are a bit too aggressive with undulations, a bit over done by the designer. Overall enjoyed the experience.
